Dinner on a Secluded Lake in the Heart of the Lake George Area

By far a very pleasant dining area outside along side Elm Lake. Large heating units are provided to keep the diners warm on a chilly evening. The food was ok to mediocre. I had a taco salad with chicken. It was soggy and many jalapenos. I wouldn't get that again. Rob got the fisherman's... read more

Great casual food on Glenn lake. A hidden gem that the locals love. Sit outside and enjoy great casual food and the view. Modest prices are a bonus

If you want to attract a good borne illness then go ahead and eat here. Sanitation isn't one of their strong points. Scary. Menu horrible. Woman who owns it is a very nasty person. Go somewhere else.

My husband and I decided to stop at the Docksider for cocktails and dinner on the lake, on a very rare night out WITHOUT our four children. It started out with a long wait and no acknowledgment from the hostess. We stood there at least 5 minutes with staff walking right by without even letting us know anyone would be... More

Extensive menu, but the service is very slow. If you have all day, it's a nice restaurant on the water.

We had lunch at the Docksider for the first time and we know we will be back. Great, casual meal right by the water, with friendly service. My daughter had the burger. It looked amazing! I had the cod fish fry special. It was very good.

It took forever for food (sandwich, soup) to come. All tables around us who came after us ate and left but we were still waiting, for an hour. Waitress was impatient and rude when we asked if food was ready. Scenery is nice but not good if you are very hungry. Disappointing and bad experience.

Went there on a Sunday, waited over an hour, service and kitchen were very slow. Took another hour to get a scallop basket with 4 scallops and cold fries. Nice view but that's all that was nice.

Went to the Docksider in March. Right on Glen Lake, probably gorgeous in the summer! A quaint, stuck in the 1970s kind of place bar obviously a locals favorite with a good selection of local beers. Food inexpensive. We had some steamers, which were tender and only $6.a dozen! Also had a pizza which looked like a frozen pie. Yuck.... More

We came here in the middle of winter. You have to walk through the bar (which was very crowded) to get to the dining area. Nothing fancy here, but the food is reasonable and good. I had the beer battered shrimp basket. Came with cole slaw and french fries. My husband got the haddock fish fry. Both were fried without... More
