Awesome Breads

Just outside of Lake George Village, this restaurant is very good, with a variety of specialty breads to choose from for sandwiches. We chose "The Gobbler" sandwich // fresh turkey on a wonderful specialty bread. We sat on an enclosed porch which was rather hot that day. The temperature could... read more

I enjoyed a Philly cheesesteak with a French martini . Awesome! Definitely will go back when in Lake George!

Drop by for a friendly drink and a bite to eat if you pass. We found that all the natives very chatty and very willing to explain the finer points of Ice Hockey and The Stanley Cup to a couple of passing Brits. By the way, we're sorry guys that the Bruins lost. As you may have guessed there was... More

The onion rings are superior and magical! Food comes first, and Irish Shepard’s Pie is a good choice. The Ruben sandwich is a winner, and so is the BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich. The labor market in the Lake George Region is a nightmare for restaurateurs trying to get wait people. At the Olde Post some of the waitresses are fantastically... More

My husband loves more casual places and I like a little more upscale, but we had been shopping all day, and he deserved a treat for carrying my bags. We stopped here based on a recommendation from an employee in the outlets. He wanted a steak and I just wanted something light. We were greeted almost immediately and sat in... More

We ended a beautiful trip to Queensbury by going to breakfast before heading home. The minute you walk in it was dreary. We then had breakfast buffet. The fresh raspberry sauce on the pancakes was amazing. But the bacon and home fries did not taste fresh...maybe a day old. The waitress was cutesy and unimpressive in her service.

We visited Lake George over the weekend and found ourselves at the outlets on Rt 9 (closer to Queensbury and the Great Escape amusement park than Lake George Village). We were searching for somewhere to eat when we spotted the Olde Post Grille. The service was friendly and the atmosphere enjoyable. The food was inexpensive and quite good. The restaurant... More

Went there for breakfast since we were staying at the Clarion and we get 10% off the Olde Post. Seemed to do a fair business with regulars. Not an extensive buffet and the usual fare (premade eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, cereals, etc). However, very cute make your own yogurt parfaits that my kids loved and a really impressive selection of... More

I love the beer selection, and so happy they added growlers so I can take one home to enjoy. My kids love the new coloring pages they have created. The wings are without a doubt the best we have ever had. I love the burgers and my wife always has one of their amazing salads. We were just in last... More

The food is cooked by a person who never wears gloves and touches everything with bare hands that he constantly wipes on his dirty apron. I watched him grab french fries out of a bowl after putting raw meat on the grill, disgusting. there is so much cross contamination going on there it's pathetic. I"m fairly sure they are breaking...
