We had a large party of friends, and this place was busy, so the wait was a bit long. But the food was excellent, portions were large, and there was plenty of variety on the menu. We would definitely go there again!

Had dinner here for our final night of vacation. Will not be back after this experience. I will say the corn bread was good and my meal of the pulled pork sandwich and fried green beans was average. My husbands meal of the other hand was awful. Started with the bbq chili which was edible but not good. He ordered... More

Went there because it smelled nice and bc it was the place with the most packed parking lot during slow season. The food was OK at best. My.husband and I had the nachos and chilli with pork and brisket (one for each of us) and a side of Mac n cheese. The chilli was at least edible but the Mac... More

You can smell the wonderful aromas down the street. The brisket and pulled pork are great, but the ribs were really dissappointing. Too much smoke and overdone. Tasted like cigarettes. Thank goodness for the brisket.

This is the off-season from what I'm told, so i would think the prices would reflect some appreciation for any kind of business..WRONG. At 5 dollars for a 12oz bottle of beer, my rear end hurt when i saw the bill. Fodd was decent, but for some pulled pork, a cpl ribs and two sides..add three beers and THAT'S 35... More

Had lunch including BBQ Chili and nachos. Usually do ribs but we were in a hurry. Not a place to be in a hurry. Food was really good though and waitress was super sweet and provided very good service. The rustic atmosphere made it extra fun.

First time at the Barnsider but not the last. My family of 4 was seated within 10 min. which was great since there was a large private party going and it was a Saturday night. The place was crowded and after eating the food I know why! The manager seated us and came back after about 5 min. to make... More

On our first night of our first trip to LG we drove down route 9 and saw all of these cars in the lot for Barnsider. Considering the rest of town was practically shut down on a Thursday in the offseason, we relied on the crowd for our dinner location. And it did not disappoint. The staff was warm and... More

This restaurant was highly recommended. We went and will go back on our next visit to Lake George for sure. The waitress was very friendly and always made sure we were doing good.
