this was my first time ever visiting this restaurant and I loved what I ordered. I got the portabella mushroom sandwich, with coleslaw and followed it with dessert. I have no complaints about my lunch selection. The waitress was helpful too. My friend and I almost ordered 2 of the same desserts separately, but she warned us that it was... More

I've lived here my whole life. and I never made the trip to Curly's in Lackawanna. The food and atmosphere were fantastic. Our server was amazing and recommended the scallop entree. Make the trip to Curly's and I can't wait to go back.

We stopped to spend the night in Buffalo on our way back home from a two week trip. This place was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying at.When we arrived the atmosphere was very welcoming. The hostess was nice but soon things went downhill fast. First our silverware wasn't clean it had some kind of food on... More

I hadn't been to Curly's before and my husband was there years ago and we really wanted to try it. One of the dishes my husband had really been looking forward to was the oyster stew. In fact we postponed our trip there once because the stew wasn't available at lunch, so we ended up for dinner on Sunday. We... More

We arrived in town to see the Basilica and wanted something to eat first. Tripadvisor rated Curley's #1 of 20 in town. The hostess was Miss Friendly. Our waitress was awesome and an ambassador for the city of Buffalo. We both got the Stella Burger and shared Pommes Frites and Side Salad; both outstanding. The wood fired burgers were great!... Curly's has fallen from grace. What was once an excellent casual-upscale destination with a varied menu has turned into a notch-above Applebee's. You can see why they might rest on their laurels--the place was packed starting at 5pm. All the same demographic, which leads me to believe there's just nothing comparable for S. Buffalo upper-middles. It's certainly no destination. Service... More

My wife and I have sampled Curly's food in the past at the Taste of Buffalo and other similar events and always wanted to give it a try. We finally found ourselves in the area so we stopped in for dinner. My wife ordered the citrus sangria - it was undrinkable...very sour...didn't seem to be made correctly. She notified our... More

OMG - the Saratoga Chips (hand made, thin cut, deep fried with gorgonzola cheese are unbelievable! HUGE portion - enough for 4 but the two of us could not stop eating them! I also had steak and it was excellent. Staff were fantastic. Free parking in the lot across the street. If I am ever in this area again I... More

My wife and I had an excellent dinner the other night at Curly 's in downtown Lackawanna , NY. The restaurant was recommended by a hotel staff member we were staying at. My wife had an excellent fish dinner and I had a very good chicken dinner served on a hot plate. Both meals were great and more than enough... More
