Quaint restaurant

I took my husband here for his birthday, as we were interested in trying their jerk entrees. We started with the black bean soup which was delicious -- just enough kick. For our entrees my husband had the 1/2 jerk chicken and I had the jerk chicken skillet. We both agreed the chicken could have... read more

Our dinner was a small work banquet. Our waiter handled our party with ease, and was very pleasant. Appetizers were not so great. The prosciutto bread was cold and very hard, crab balls ok, and spring rolls too hot. My entree was blackened shrimp, which was too spicy hot for me, however the portion and shrimp size was perfect. My... More

We had the occasion to go to Curley's for a banquet in May. We have been there many times for banquets but never for dinner or lunch so this review is based on that. We are always disappointed for one reason or another. Sometimes, they have run out of food ( unbelievably as they were aware of the number of... More

We enjoyed a very nice dinner with friends on a Saturday night. We had reservations and were taken right away. Our waitress was lovely and easy to talk to. We all had wonderful entrees as were the drinks.

We went out with another couple of a Friday at 6:30 and they were out of haddock. How can a restaurant be out of fish this early on a Friday is beyond me. We settled for the scallop dinner and it was plain strange. The scallops were very good but the rest of the dish was terrible as it had... More

A friend and I had dinner reservations for 6. We arrived 40 minutes early due to light traffic and the hostess found us a table immediately. Our waitress was friendly and helpful, attentive but not intrusive. They have a wonderful, clearly marked gluten free menu, which makes it easy to avoid the foods I can't eat. Their selection of options... More

Went to Curly's on a Saturday with two other couples. Was in the mood for their jerk chicken. others had the pork, mango chicken and skillet plates. They were very satisfied, but I thought the half chicken was not what I expected. It came with augratin potatoes and greens. There really was nothing that "stood out", sort of bland! The... More

First time dining at Curly's. Good bar and restaurant. Food was very good. Next time I would try one of their skillet items. Seemed like a lot of people were dining on them. My husband didn't care for his pick but that didn't mean it wasn't good. The waitress was very apologetic and gave us 6 complimentary, freshly baked choc... More

During the storm, we were stranded at my sisters in Lackawanna and postponed my Mother's 80th Birthday until last week. My brother in law, a highway worker was so impressed by Curly's after the new owner had called and asked someone to stop by and pick up dinner for the guys and girls who had been working around the clock...
