A group of ten diners--we ordered steaks and lobster tails. The lobster tails smelly ammonia-y and tasted awful. The steaks were hard as rubber. The service was lackluster. Not the beachy feel you should get on Fire Island.

We had a terrible dinner. The service was horrendous; the food was not good; the room was dingy; but the drinks were good. That's not enough. We will not return to the Inn.

Not as noisy as other places, great service, good food, fair prices and outdoor seating. Just right for a simple lunch after a long walk

The service was the real culprit here. Get in to the restaurant at 6:15 And it's completely empty. We wait over an hour for food that was okay; not to mention the appetizers came with the main food. Why? That's not the point of appetizers. We also had a friend with an allergy and the waiter did not have familiarity... More

I've been to Kismet twice & always go to the Kismet Inn for bkfst/brunch but you can also get a lobster roll or lunch foods before noon. I like the location & views here.

I was here 25 years ago and the place hasn't changed. Good food, good place for drinks. Good things shouldn't change.

Had dinner there last night - just not good. Ordered burgers - all were cooked wrong (burgers were $22 each so it should be right) and service was very slow even though they weren't that busy for a Saturday (and for good reason). Our food was finally corrected (as best as they could do) but then our bill was wrong.... More

Ended up here on a sunny summer Saturday afternoon. Had the Cobb Salad out next to the marina on their deck. Salad wasn't bad. Drinks were cheap. Waiter was a little distracted. Overall a pretty decent experience. If I had to choose between this and the neighboring bar Surf's Out- this place gets it done and for a bit less.... More

Loved sitting outside enjoying clams on the half shell, shrimp cocktail and a glass of wine. Nice way to spend an afternoon. Fish sandwich was a bit on the disappointing side. Service was good, friendly and competent.

Overpriced, poor service, small portions, RANCID SEAFOOD. Tourist trap is not a strong enough description. You should just grab pizza as you exit the ferry, if you're hungry. I can't put into words the disappointment and disgust. One friend left vomiting. Don't go.. Please, don't go there.
