Great find

Stopped here with business associates do lunch. It's not the type of place you would always stop at... But should! The food is excellent and if at all possible try their homemade dressing. The blue cheese dressing is worth taking home and you can! A definite must stop on your next time out

My husband, daughter and I decided to try out The Bowery Dugout for my hubby's birthday...We had a very nice server so this review does not reflect her performance....When seated they bring you garlic bread and vegetable plate...The veggies were good the garlic bread was bland and tough...My hubby ordered the surf and turf which consisted of New York strip... Lunch or dinner.....Bowery Dugout is the local area go-to place for fresh caught sea food....menu is varied and also offers everything from chicken, pasta, beef to salads (the homemade cole slaw le'must) and burgers etc. Service is the friendliest and most attentive, food is excellently prepared and Bruce (the owner) enjoys stopping by to greet diners personally. Although Kingston is... More

My hotel recommended the Bowery Dugout as a local favorite. Read the reviews on Tripadvisor. Good reviews. Why not. I am glad I did. The place is located on the main street, just look for a big house. The signage is not that big so during the day it is easy to pass up. Once you get there, head downstairs... More

We have never been disappointed with a meal at the Bowery Dugout. We stopped in today for lunch and the ruben was fantastic, the service was excellent. When in Kingston, stop for lunch at a locally owned restaurant. You will want to return again and again.

I have been eating at The Bowery Dugout for a number of years now and I have never been disappointed by the food or the service. They serve the biggest, freshest oysters on the half shell. Their blue cheese dressing is amazing. And when soft shell crabs are in season...delicious! I can't say enough about this wonderful place!

Went there for the first time recently and was pleasantly surprised! The place was super busy and yet the wait staff were up beat and super friendly! Portion size was good, seafood was fresh, and food was served in a timely manner. Nice place to go for fresh seafood at decent prices!

A Kingston treasure. Not much on the outside, but good food on hte inside. Well prepared, large protions and wonderful service. Since I love lobstere, I can call ahead to reserve large lobster and it is always prepared to perfection (I like mine steamed). As for mypersonal recommendation, I always ask for Beth as my server, as she is a... More

Very generous portions of very good food. Heavy seafood influence with attentive service. Lunch is only in the downstairs area making access to restrooms tricky.

We haven't been here in years and thought we would try dinner tonight. The broiled seafood combo was average at best. The haddock was overcooked and mushy and the scallops were like shoe leather. The sundried dressing was from a bottle i think, definitely not freshly made.
