Good bbq

P retty good bbq, we order the big sample plate and was delicious. Oir favorite was the smoke turkey and the ribs were to die for. We ate took the rest home and couldn't finished. The side were bland, the coleslaw was great. The place is very low key n simple.

Do not go here if you are expecting anything good. The brisket is horrible they don't know how to braise or slow smoke anything. Complete BBQ amateurs here. Brisket and ribs are chewy and tough.

Stopped here to have lunch, for only $9, got a giant BBQ pulled pork sandwich, a side, and some coleslaw. What a value! Great kids meal selections also!! The sweet tea could have been a little better!! Tasted like there wasn't real sugar in the tea!! I would say that is the only thing they need to improve!!

Have been here many times. Everyone in the family has their favorite meal but ironically for a BBQ place, my favorite dish is the grilled veggie wrap with a side chopped salad, be sure to add goat cheese crumbles.

Been there many times for burgers, pulled pork and the brisket dinner. Brisket is amazing if you are ready for a lot of food. The sides are good as well, mac and cheese is my favorite. Good all around barbecue joint. Bar looks pretty good but I don't frequent it.

I went there after skiing because I had been craving good BBQ. The dining room was very cold, but the waitress said she was not allowed to adjust it. The Ladies room was filthy! I have to say, had I gone in there before I ordered, I would not have stayed to eat. The floor had dirty grime in the... More

The place is very old and in need of updating. Plenty of parking and the service was good. I would have enjoyed myself more if I wasn't so grossed out by all the flies. I had to keep swatting them away from my food. I had a brisket sandwich which was huge and very good. But the atmosphere was such... More

We stopped coming home late one Saturday. Typical BBQ menu done pretty well. Prices were reasonable. We had brisket and meatloaf. Comfort food for a non-special day. Quantity was sufficient to provide lunch the next day. We'll come back.

I always stop at this place when I'm passing through the area, as it is only about 4 miles off the Thruway on Rte. 28. If you were heading to the Catskill ski areas, it is right on your way. All the standard barbecued meats--pork, brisket, ribs--are consistently high quality, and the greens of the day (get the collards if... More

The atmosphere was what you'd expect from a BBQ joint. The menu was pretty basic. The food was good, not great. I think the prices were a little high for the quality and quantity. I really liked the corn bread and biscuits and the brisket was plentiful and tasted great heated up the next day. The wings were OK, but... More
