This wonderful place closed last year. Fortunately, the sister restaurant, owned and managed by the same family, with a fun atmosphere and their own microbrew is just a few miles away in Hyde Park. The view there is of the great estates of Dutchess County. Farewell SkyTop, we hardly knew ye!

I rated terrible since the restaurant is now closed - I didn't want to get anyone's hopes up. It is sad that it closed because it was a beautiful place with a great view.

Went here after staying at the motel next door and had one of the best steaks I've had anywhere as well as having amazing vegetables, quite possibly the best green beans I've had out of the many places I've had them in.

The restaurant is very nice & the food was very good. My problem is the food amount is not what I would expect for the prices. I ordered the sliced Sirloin & for $27 it came with only 7 slices of meat. I asked for it medium well & I had to send it back since it came medium. They... More

We have eaten here a few times over the years when staying at the motel next door. (We don't recommend that.) Once again, we had a very pleasant dinner of Porterhouse for two, with nicely done vegetables and a good bottle of wine ("Hybrid" from California) that was not terribly expensive. Our service was very good. The desserts we had... More

I thought the service was a bit slow. The prices were higher than I recalled from previous visits. We visited early evening and the place was not packed and we sat outside. The food was good. The waitress was not that busy so the slow service, taking the order, bringing the check, bringing drinks was not pleasant. I would go... More

Coming back to upstate New York remembered this restaurant has was off Interstate 87 at Kingston and would be a convenient stop for dinner. Called from the road and they said they didn't have any table but could sit at the bar. Young lady who answered the phone was very unprofessional and sounded like a kid on her first job.... More

Went for brunch today. Food was terrible and waiter called to replace plates at the buffet that were dirty and had to be called back because some of the plates that he brought back were also dirty. Food on the steam table was lukewarm rather then hot. Had to ask the waiter to identify one of the meat dishes on... More

This was by far one of the worst experiances I've ever had in a restaurant and I've eaten at sonic! The waitstaff clearly juvinile, and hoping to shake someone down for a tip. The food wasn't just bad it looked like something from a nightmare. Not wanting to send it back for fear of what else they might send out... More

Atmosphere is fabulous and the views are breathtaking. The food is very good as well as the service. They have an antipasta salad bar that is very good and is enough to eat by itself. Great place to have a special occasion and/or party. The outdoor dining area is great and they even have a firepit for the added romance... More
