My wife and I try to get to the Catskills every year or so and make sure this historic restaurant is at the top of our "to do' list. In almost a mirror image of our stay last year, this weekend brought another coating of snow so we trekked from our hotel and stopped in to have a couple of... More

What a tremendous dining experience!!! We had a great meal. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. This restaurant's history dates back to before the Revolutionary War! We are so thankful that this very historic building has not only been so well preserved but is so inviting for a meal. We so hope to go back next time we are... More

We arrived on a Saturday night without a reservation and were seated promptly in a lovely room with a roaring fire. You can't help but feel that you're dining in a place steeped in significant historical relevance. It is wonderful. We started with a bottle of well priced Prosecco that was well chilled and delicious. We had 3 different appetizers that... More

We have been dining at the Hoffman House for years. It never disappoints whether you are there for lunch or dinner. The waitstaff is outstanding! I have never had a bad meal here. It is always consistent.

We've been going to Hoffman House for years. Favorite meal is still Steak au Poirve! The winter is great there with the original fireplaces dating back to the Revolutionary War. Summer on the outdoor deck is just as lovely. Always a great meal.

We stopped here for dinner on the way from NJ to VT during leaf peeping season. We had made reservations as suggested by others, as it was a Friday night. The hostess gave us a choice of seating, and we chose to sit near the fireplace (although it was not on). The food was delicious, service was friendly, and the... More

This was my 2nd trip to Kingston and I just had to go back for lunch again this trip. The feeling you get sitting in this piece of Americana is unbelievable, and the food matches. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, the owners are also. I highly recommend the garlic steak sandwich, could barely finish it was so delicious... More

We go here as often as possible. The building is pretty cool just in itself. The food is spectacular. Their garlic steak is delicious and perfectly cooked every time. Their crab rangoon special is very good as well. Definitely recommend giving it a try. You will not be disappointed.
