Great Lunch

Yum Yum is a small unpretentious restaurant in uptown Kingston. The setting is simple, almost austere but nonetheless very relaxing. The food is fresh, creative and tasty. They offer interesting daily specials in addition to the normal Asian menu ... I had a delicious pork rice bowl the other day... read more

Nothing fancy but they offer a reliable, if limited fare. Good if you are in the mood to rub elbows since you are seated at long tables with other diners. Food is generally good and well worth the money, which is not very much. Very reasonable place to eat with kids.

Expensive but lots of healthy food and fun atmosphere. I always get the bento box. Occasionally indulge in a fancy drink. Just love it.

This was a real treat. I loved that they had a kids' menu, but didn't go to the lowest denominator (grilled cheese, chicken tenders). The kids' menu was similar to the adult food, but a little less adventurous. My kids (5 & 7) loved the noodle bowls with chicken. My husband had the pork tacos and I yummed on a... More

My husband and I both love Asian style noodles, so we ate lunch at both the Kingston and Woodstock Yum Yum Noodle Bars. Both were a major disappointment. Although we had good service at both restaurants, the food was not at all well prepared or tasty. Our miso soups had watery broth and not a lot of veggies at both... More

Big portions. Fresh and creative. Very easy on the wallet. Lots to choose from and the spicy dishes have real kick. A fun, hip spot for foodies and families...

I ordered miso soup. Watery. One boiled egg floating in the broth. Maybe one piece of Bok Choy. Way overpriced, (I THINK it was around ten bucks) but ambiance is quiet and peaceful, and laid back staff will let you sit there as long as you desire.

Korean tacos are excellent. The food is always freshly prepared. We have only done take out. The steamed dumplings are delicious but SO FRESH that if you take them home, they become a little sticky from waiting to eat them. So anything steamed with dough, I would eat in house. I don't like that the person (this was awhile ago)... More
