We had a great get together at this small old brick brewery in the historic district of Kingston, NY. Besides smooth malts and ales, their appetizer sides were surprisingly good, and fresh. We're a total sticklers for fresh quailty, Their guacamole, salsa and chips were made in house, awesome. Full bar available. Behind a floor to ceiling height window you... More

Keegans is a great place for your every day naighborhood bar to a one time visit as part of a brewery tour. Friendly people and great beers from low alcohol to heavy ales. Great music and happy hour. The food is good for a place like this but they can make a better variety in food choice than they do... More

We stopped in after a visit to Kingston. I'm very glad we did. Great microbrews and great spot. Peanut shells on the floor; a lot from us, makes for a great beer atmosphere. Had a few pints and played darts. We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this great little micro-brewery. We expected good beers - and they sure delivered on that score. We expected a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service - and got that as well, We HOPED for good food - and were absolutely delighted with their simple but wonderfully tasty entrees. Look forward to returning whenever we can!

One of the elements that makes the establishment is the people that you meet when you go there. This particular brewery stands out because they are able to attract a good crowd through live entertainment and of course their great beer. Though it falls under the category of "restaurant", everyone really comes here for the beer. Many local restaurants such... More

If you like to try local micro-brews make this a stop. Nothing spectacular but some interesting beers/ales and a very laid-back atmosphere.

My sister-in-law just visited from England and she shared my love of Mother's Milk- such a dark & smooth beer, and so delicious! Love KA for trivia nights, the live music, and fantastic rotating art on the walls.

I love craft beer and the offerings here are great - BUT the ambience of the restaurant is more like a beer hall than a restaurant. There are picnic tables and basic wooden floor and a live band when we were there, but my G/F was expecting something a little more polished from the web site. Appetizer that we had... More

What a great place to go and have a delicious beer ( Blackeye, if you like a dark stout)! Nothing pretentious or stuffy about Keegan Ales. Great bartenders, with good knowledge of their brews. Just an overall good place with a friendly atmosphere to grab a good beer.

It's also a great meeting place. Talk about minimalist places, this meets that definition in the best possible way. Located in what at night time looks like an industrial/commercial area of the city, our GPS successfully delivered us to their parking lot. Upon entering through the doorway on the lit up wall with an Indian head painted mural, we heard... More
