According to the lady at the information booth in the mall where Rolling Rock resides, the restaurant just closed it's doors with no word to anyone including the employees who showed up for work. Not even sure who owns the restaurant.

Three teenagers with simple appetites--my son ordered penne a la vodka and meatballs. He's 13 and loves meatballs but he literally spit them out they were so awful! My two daughters don't eat meat and ordered plain pasta with butter and cheese--which arrived with meatballs! My salad was OK and my husbands burger was passable. The waiter was apologetic and... My parents live in the Kingston area, and it was my dad's birthday. He requested that we take him to the Rolling Rock for lunch as my parents stop in occasionally. I don't know if this location has affiliation to the original Rolling Rock cafe that years ago (late 80's early 90's) used to exist across the Hudson River, in... More

My granddaughter ordered a steak dinner & I ordered house salad. We started with onion soup - warm not hot - almost all cheese/no soup. My salad was served immediately - after 30 minutes her steak arrived - one knife cut - almost raw and bleeding - spent 15 minutes trying to get someone's attention - then another 30 minutes... More

On a cold, rainy night in December, I ended up having dinner alone while visiting Kingston. There was a mall across the street from the hotel and so I went looking for a restaurant. For quite a while, I debated between Sbarro in the Eatery and heading into the Rolling Rock Cafe alone. I'm glad I chose rolling rock. Since... More
