The food was great, even with the gluten free options. The mozzarella used in the caprese was some of the best I've had. Nice location in Kingston on the river. The only complaint was the staff didn't really know the history of the building or some of the details about the food.

It is interesting reading other reviews prior to writing your own. More-so when their experiences differ from your own. Hopefully people will believe me when I say our Savona's Restaurant experience was wonderful. Outside seating on a gorgeous day helps too! And wonderful waitresses like Lizzy are a big plus as well. Four of us had a good time and... More

First they gave our reservation to another couple . Waited 25 minutes. Wrong wine. Forgot the salmon addition. Ravioli floating in butter. Sticky glasses. Always searching for waitress who seemed annoyed. Forgot bread. Hmmmm

Have eaten here many times and never been disappointed. Garlic bread is addicting. Make a great margarita. Good Vegetarian options. One of our go to restaurants.

Some might give our experience a single star, but I like to reserve something for if I'm served rat or something rancid... I was in the area for an event commencing the next day. Other family came in from out of town (90 minute drive) to visit over dinner; we thought we'd go someplace nicer than a chain restaurant since... More

Savona's is a great spot for an always reliable and satisfying meal. In nice weather there is outside seating, and meals are also served in the smallish bar area. The dining room is busy and the noise level is fairly high, so this is not a place for an intimate conversation on a Saturday evening! However, there is great energy... More

Everything about our experience at Savona's Trattoria from reservation to coffee was exceptional! Our table was ready which was lovely outdoor seating, waitstaff, drinks, appetitizers (stuffed figs) & main courses were delicious! Afterwards we had coffee, cheesecake & goat cheese honey gelato (sounds gross but tasted amazing) which did not disappoint! We were unsure about what to expect since the... More

The best part was my cousins hamburger. Go figure, at an Italian restaurant! My eggplant was tasteless...the lasagna was so hot we couldnt touch it for 20 minutes...and this was after waiting about 45 minutes for the food to arrive. I will say that the 12.95 lunch special is a great deal...but don't go on a lunch break or expect... More

Savonna, Savonna - you're close to something, but you have to stay focused and follow through. Saturday's lovely Arancini would make a grandmother proud, and the gorgonzola stuffed figs were right on target, except that you sat the figs on fresh arugula and put it under the heat lamp. The warm shriveled arugula undermined the goodness of the figs. This... More

Caesar salad is huge, reasonable, eight dollars. My mother got a focaccia that was absolutely wonderful, and she can only eat half of it at one sitting. The pesto garlic bread twists were to die for.. Great atmosphere, right near the river, near hip shopping area. Just happened upon it, Wonderful, friendly service.
