Boitson's is one of the better restaurants in Kingston. It has an old time oyster house feel with great 'new' American cuisine. It is fairly priced and the service is professional, you don't always get that in Kingston. The food is very good, I've eaten there several times and intend to return. The restaurant's back story, on the menu, is... More

You be the judge. I met my girl friend at Boitson's and have had decent dinners there over the past year. Not great...not terrible...not worthy of comment, really. Friday night, however, my experience was terrible. Sitting at Boitson's inside bar, i ordered a "Hudson Valley ribeye with garlic butter sauce". I was served a decent...not great...ribeye...smothered in coarsely chopped garlic... More

Was driving upstate and needed to stop for dinner. Found Boitson's on this site and was pleased with what I found. My companion and I decided not to sit on the very nice rear deck because it was very noisy which would have made conversing difficult. Inside was cozy and dark. As it filled up it became noisy as well.... More

We had a terrific dinner and great wine this weekend at a "true find" in Kingston. The dinner started with a delicious rose wine and then 4 of us shared a few salads that were all unique and great. The dishes we tried were roasted cod with wild rice risotto and beens, fried chicken and masked potato and stuffed hen.... More

Stumbled upon this place via TripAdvisor when looking for something to do and somewhere to eat in Kingston. Excellent! The weather allowed us to sit on the deck out back which seems to have a very different, open and relaxed vibe than the inside of the restaurant (inside looks nice too though). Food was tasty and very reasonably priced...and the... More

Read the back story on Boitson's website, and you'll get a pretty good idea of what the place is like. We really enjoyed our food, and the cocktail menu enticed us to have an after dinner drink-unusual for us. The waiter was a bit unsure of himself, but everybody's a newbie at some point. Choose the patio if the weather... More

The menu was creative and the food was very fresh. We sampled the bourbon maple-glazed salmon, a pasta dish with prosciutto and melon, various salads, and a burger. All were delicious The service, however, was a bit slow.

Love the terrace! The cauliflower with wing source is a must try. Interesting drink menu. Chill vibe. Dishes on the small side, especially the lobster rolls.

Maria has done an amazing job with this spot, almost single handedly revitalized uptown kingston, along with stockade bar. The food is always great from her steady menu items to her varied specials. Also if ur into oysters stop in here. Great Paris bistro vibe and in the warm weather a great deck to al fresco it.....

I took my friend to dinner who is very hard to please & she said it was great food & she would visit again, that in itself is a good review. I had the fried oysters to start & the stuffed flounder for my main course & my friend had the green tomatoes & the blue crab linguini, all excellent... More
