Loved the Devils

Went there on a Friday night-packed like sardines, but, fun atmosphere. Loved the Devils on Horseback, entrees were good. Cool, busy, fun place. Will go back and try more on menu.

Last year I went on a date, we shared the buffalo cauliflower. It was excellent, I didn't realize what I was getting myself into until it came down. She was a vegetarian and had ample and interesting things to choose from. I ordered the duck, because I like meat. The duck was sublime. The craft beer selection was great, limited... More

Boitson is the hipster beachhead in Kingston, a place to see and be seen while eating great Diner-gone-to-college style food.

Dined here with a Gift Cert on a Friday evening. This place is very small and seats very few at a time. It's a beautiful retro-looking dining room. The food was actually very good, tasted exactly like it should, there were no surprises. The presentation was nice, food was hot and fresh. This is a trendy joint and I was... More

Since it was difficult to get a dinner reservation on a recent Saturday night in Kingston, NY (!), Boitson's must be a Kingston hot spot. We had heard some good things and some not-so-good things about this restaurant, so we finally decided to try it for ourselves. Bottom line - - - the food and service are up to high... More

There are quite a few place to dine in the Hudson Valley Boitsons is one of them. From small plates to full dinners you'll enjoy their diverse menu. Reservations are important, the environment is intimate and comfortable and the food really good.

My girlfriend and I went to dinner during a weekend trip to the Kingston area. It was a little chilly out, but the patio area with the heaters was fantastic. Good options for beer. I had the steak frites, which were great (a little rarer than I would have liked, but still a good meal). The friend chicken was awesome... More

In the wilds of the North, restaurants claiming to be Louisiana-style or Cajun or anything like that are almost uniformly at least disappointing and sometimes dreadful. Boitsin's in uptown Kingston was therefore a delightful surprise--the gumbo was practically perfect--alas, no filé, though--and an appetizer billed as crawfish beignets proved to contain large quantities of actual crawfish. The fried chicken was... More

and a great local, Keegans draft beer. If this place hadn't been recommended to me, from the sidewalk appearance, I probably wouldn't have even stuck my head in the door. So glad they had a table for me, out back, on the patio. Large screen playing "Five Easy Pieces," and then, "Grease." Fun, festive, and great service. I had eaten... More

Boitson's is one of the better restaurants in Kingston. It has an old time oyster house feel with great 'new' American cuisine. It is fairly priced and the service is professional, you don't always get that in Kingston. The food is very good, I've eaten there several times and intend to return. The restaurant's back story, on the menu, is... More
