run down plus overpriced equals poor value

The North Country Club Restaurant was a popular dining spot in the sixties and seventies. I have fond memories of our Aunt and Uncle bringing us down to Keeseville for their famous pizza. Terrible service, worse frozen food. Took 2 hours to get 2 draft beers and NO food. They have quick draw but no one to take your tickets or money. Still hungry because it took the rest of my party to get their "pizza" 30+ minutes after the rest of the party while appetizers were served with the "meal". Don't waste... More

I have eaten other meals here but always come back for the pizza. The restaurant is a little known jewel. Between plattsburgh and Lewisville, it is a great place to stop for a quick and delicious meal. The pizza is thin crust and unlike any I have had elsewhere. Crispy, but chewy! Nice bar and snacks while you wait, which... More

We've had burgers twice recently there. They make a very good bacon cheeseburger. Ask them to make them with Swiss cheese.

Not bad - awful! Tomato sauce was paste and water. I was worried about getting sick the night I ate there.

We came for lunch on our way up to Peru. I think it is just okay. The spinach dip was good but so steaming hot that it really burnt the roof of my mouth, so that might be why the rest was just average tasting. One in our party had the pizza and was not impressed, so perhaps stick with... More

The North Country Club has been a fixture in Keeseville for as long as I can remember. It was one of my first stops on my recent trip back home. The pizza is unlike any I have ever had anywhere else, and to this day is my lifetime favorite. The pizza did not disappoint. Order an all meat pizza with... More

Good atmosphere, but the male owner acts like he's bothered you are in the place.

We decided to check out this restaurant for its pizza since we have heard from a few people that it was worth the effort. After waiting for our waitress for several minutes thinking they had forgotten that we were there we finally ordered a plain pizza. This is always our first bench mark on pizza to evaluate its flavor... I... More
