Used to be a favorite stop on way to my vacation home for years. Last visit was told I needed reservations to sit on the deck after my family seated themselfs. Really! Reservations! Went to Baxter Mt Bar and Grille instead and had great meal on larger deck with better views. Turn left on 9N and up the hill.

Bunch of us went here after a hike in the area and everyone was pleased with their meal. Good choice of beers did not hurt, either. Service above average and our server was very friendly. Worth a stop if you're in the area.

but good service and good food - so no complaints! Really good french onion soup! Within walking distance to some of the B&Bs in town.

What better way to end a day of skiing and snowshoeing up an Adirondack high peak than with a well prepared and hearty meal. The food here is delicious and the service attentive and friendly. I had the Hungarian Mushroom Soup and the Thai Peanut salad with grilled chicken. Both were excellent! My son enjoyed a delicious burger with awesome... More

We had dinner there on a very busy weekend, and although the restaurant was full, waitresses made sure food came fast and all the requests were fulfilled. Nice atmosphere of a rustic cottage, with a fireplace; great menu with lots of selections. We both had halibut as a special dish, and it was tender and delicious. The only thing is,... More

Consistently good food and specials each night. Friendly and competent wait staff. As a local, it's my "go to" restaurant and I eat there about once a week with friends or family.

Excellent soups (including a lobster bisque with astounding chunks of the principal ingredient) and duck wings (plumper than you might suppose) on two recent visits were somewhat compromised by an overcooked sirloin (I should have sent it back but was not in the mood) and undercooked salmon. The atmosphere is a pleasant blend of basic pub and rustic cottage, complete... More

We really loved the ambience. Good food (not great cuisine, but very good), and wonderful big fireplace with fire going on cold nights. Very close to where we were staying in Keene Valley. Wonderful and cozy.

I made reservations for 7 men, who all had hearty appetites. The waitress was a lovely and very friendly girl, who informed us while during our orders that the tip would be included in the bill because our party was over 6 people, which we all understood. We all shared and enjoyed an order of duck wings, which were in... More
