Well we were staying in a super 8 hotel which was minging so we went out in search of civilisation. We were hungry so we ended up in Johnstown as it was the only place in miles that had any form of diner and it still didn't have much choice. You only need one choice if there's miss Johnstown diner... More

Great place for breakfast - growing up in Johnstown the Miss Johnstown Diner is the best. Not fancy, but great food

Food was excellent. Fast service. Breakfast was cooked exactly the way I requested it. Even after ordering a specific side dish, they did not charge me for the "upgrade" Very friendly atmosphere. People made me feel like I was a local enjoying a routine breakfast.

Small town wonderful. Ashly was superb as a cook & waitress & entertainer.. This diner was originally a trolly car & part of it iis still visible or identifiablem in the ceiling structure. It is rumered to still have the trolly trucks still under it. Sm

this place needs a deep cleaning! The food is greasy and usually not fresh. Food tastes expired and the service is bad. I would never go back!

My wife was raised in this small town, so on my first trip there myself I agreed that we should visit the locals version of "waffle house". The building is very dated but clean. The service was fast and thorough. Now lets get to the food. I ordered something I have never heard of before in North Carolina. It was... More

We had breakfast here on the last morning of our 500 mile bike ride across New York (FANY). The food, staff and atmosphere was the greatest of any place we stopped all week. Next door is a more upscale eatery but I doubt any where near as much character or value.

At mid point of a three hour trip we ended up at this diner one Friday night around 8:30 p.m., a time in small towns when the dining options for real cooked food are slim. There was a handwritten sign out on the sidewalk out front advertising beef tips on linguine, which particular combination I had never before considered, but... More

'We've been here many times. Great homemade fries & a variety of homemade pies. And they do their own donuts. Classic diner interior. Open 24 hours!
