Fantastic themed restaurant in the heart of Jamestown. Tastefully decorated with memories of I Love Lucy. Friendly owner/staff and great, inexpensive food. We stopped in for a lunch during the Lucille Ball Festival this weekend. I cannot say enough great things about this place!! The four of us sat up at the bar and interacted with the owner during our meal. Such a lovely lady!!! My sister and I shared the popper panini and the grilled peanut butter and jelly panini. I... Took my mom on a trip to the Lucy-Desi Museum. We visited here for breakfast and enjoyed ourselves very much. First, the owner (April) was so kind and welcoming. Second, the restaurant was very clean, especially the restroom. Third, the food and coffee were very tasty! The restaurant also had some cool Lucy items on display. Per my title, I... More

Three of us visited this place recently and we will not return. When we picked an item on the menu, we were told they did no have that one. We asked for steak sauce and they did not have any. We asked about "Gluten Free" items and they had no suggestions-however a salad met the need-strangely prepared and served.

We visited The Babalu Cafe after stopping at the Lucy-Desi Museum and Desilu Studios. Lunch was great and it was a perfect spot for an I Love Lucy inspired lunch. The atmosphere was awesome, the decorations were cute, and the food was great! Everyone was really nice and friendly, especially our waitress Dawn, and the whole experience was perfect! Definitely... 4 stars for the cleanliness, adorable interior & friendly staff. I had a buffalo panini which was ok. My moms "skillet" type breakfast & my home fries were very bland. Local favorite, probably because the owner & staff treat you like family when you walk in. They greeted many customers by name.

Just passing through Jamestown on a road trip, and to visit the birthplace of Lucille Ball. This wonderful spot served a great cup of joe and the freshest, tastiest omelet! On request they subbed the Babalu Scramble as an omelet! Had our Vitameatavegamin all wrapped up in perfectly cooked eggs! And cleanliness is top notch, actually saw our waitress wipe... More
