We were on a girls road trip to celebrate a friends 50th birthday. She loves Lucy and we set out for a total Lucy experience so decided to grab lunch at the Babalu Cafe. It was everything we hoped for. This family run restaurant celebrates Lucy without going overboard. The food was very good and the service was great. The... More

I've been to the Babalu Café a couple times in the recent past; once for breakfast and once for lunch. It's located in an area where, when you step inside, you forget you are in the middle of downtown. It's very homey, the beautiful wood interior was all hand crafted by the owner, and he, his wife and daughter are... More

I was in the area on business and stopped two days in a row. I will definitely stop again next time I am in Jamestown. Friendly staff and good food.

Went here because of the reviews, but it was just a coffee shop with basic coffee shop food. Basic sandwiches, breakfast served with friendly service. Had their version of the Cuban Sandwich. Not authentic, but good: thin slices of roast pork, salami (not ham) and cheese with mayo and chopped pickles, served on grilled white bread, instead of a roll.... More

The food is excellent whether you are there for breakfast or lunch and the prices are great. A very comfortable atmosphere. The owner and staff make you feel very welcome. I recommend this cafe to everyone. I'm sure to be a frequent customer.

First time I've visited the Babalu Cafe, but it won't be the last! My friend and I started with the chicken tortilla soup which was just right in the spice and texture, with the right amount of chicken and topped with tortilla chips. My friend had a stuffed mushroom and Swiss burger and I had the Babalu panini. I would... More

Babalu Cafe in Jamestown NY is one of the friendliest places I've been for breakfast in a long time. The owner and staff have a the gift of hospitality! And whoever makes the food hasa definite knack for it, too! I love the oatmeal and feel like I'm making a healthy breakfast choice when I eat it, and I also... More

Before visiting the Lucy/Desi Museum yesterday, three friends and I stopped at the Babalu for breakfast. The staff, including the owner, were very friendly and attentive. The food was tasty and made to order,( I asked that mine be prepared with PAM rather than oil or butter) and the complimentary bon bon was fabulous! The Cafe was homey, clean and... More

Visited here as we were checking out the Lucy museum a few blocks away. Nice little place! We ordered a varied selection, and sad to say, the food was just "OK". We had the french onion soup which, admittedly, was disappointing. I also had the Monte Cristo which was VERY small. My girlfriend had the quiche which she said wasn't... More
