This restaurant is by far one of the best I've eaten ate so far. Along with the amazingly delicious food, the service is outstanding ! All the people that work there actually care about you!

I am an international student from South Asia, and ever since I arrived in Ithaca I have always missed the food from back home. Anyone who has had dining food at their college knows that there is a lot lacking in terms of diverse cultural food. However this changed when my friend referred me to Sangam. If you are looking... My wife and I brought our daughter and roommate for a late Saturday dinner. All our food was wonderful spicy but not over-the-top. The two of us shared the chicken tikka masala and the chicken Makkah To die for. My daughters vegetarian option was superb, and her roommate lovevd the chicken mango. The service was reasonably prompt and quite friendly... More

The food is very good, but the owner is rude and I will never eat there again, I ordered a $10.95 chicken meal without rice because I can't digest it well, she still charged me full price which is fine, but I asked if I could have a piece of nan bread instead she said no and would charge me... I'm not an Indian food expert by any means but this one was so tasty that I felt a review was in order. We ordered the nan bread basket, chicken tikki masala and vegetable vindaloo. All were perfectly prepared and the service was prompt. The alcohol was also very inexpensive....$3 glasses of wine...wow...that's 1980 prices!!

. I am a resident of Ithaca since 1994. Used to come to Sangam with my wife until 2005, then stopped going to the main restaurant owing to indifferent service and worse food, although the small outlet in Center Ithaca maintained reasonable quality for the price. A friend dragged me to the Eddy Street mother ship September 4, a Thursday... More

I come here every two weeks purely for their butter chicken ("chicken makhni"), which is simply the best I've ever had anywhere. So moist and rich, and the tomato/butter sauce is a tad more sweet than I've had in other Indian restaurants. That sweet/spicey/moist combo is really what makes it so incredible. I've paid significantly more for this dish in... More

Went here between 1:30 and 2:00 for the buffet. Pickings were slim. Just about everything that was left had been sitting out too long and was overcooked. Maybe if I'd gotten there earlier, things would have been better. Service was indifferent, but what do you expect with a buffet?

The best tandoori chicken ever! Atmosphere is always stimulating. People from all over the world eat here and owners and staff treat all like family.

I have been going to Sangam Indian Cuisine for years and years. I usually love the food and can't wait to get to the restaurant. I usually go during lunch time and get the buffet. In the buffet line I can count on curry chicken and buttered chicken as the main meat dishes. Today, both chicken dishes consisted of boney... More
