Found this gem using AAA and it was well worth the drive. Enjoyed lunch with my wife and son and couldn't have been much happier. Didn't try the Pines Burger (didn't know about its tradition), instead opted for the special, a pulled pork sandwich w/fries which was superb! Sipped a local IPA while my two plate mates had soft drinks.... more

I like this restaurnat because it doesn't pretend to be anything more than it is. It has something for everyone and it is reasonably priced and tasty. I loved my fish and corn fritters. Good wine list and the rest of the parties food was fresh and tasty. The kentucky derby pie was delicious but wow is it rich. more

Whenever we are at our son-in-law's lakefront house up the road from the Glenwood Pine, we almost always end up dining there at least once; if not more. I have not yet had their Pineburger since it's much too big for me, though their regular hamburger is not bad itself. But the most delicious dish there is their Seafood Chowder.... more

We found it to be a disappointed mess of a burger - a small,fatty beef patty, dripping with thousand island dressing on french bread (is that what that was??). What's the big deal?? The Pines Burger is a must-have Ithaca treat - totally bad for you, but tastes fabulous, especially with a very cold mug of tap beer on a sunny summer day. more

Good basic food, a nice low key atmosphere, and good service. Weekends and even some week days it will be crowded from 5:30-7:30. Check out the specials board when you arrive. There's often something interesting to try. . . if you're not in the mood for one of their famous Pines Burgers. more
