We always have a dinner at the Boatyard when family are in town. There's usually something for everyone on the menu, and the lakeside setting is attractive anytime of year.
We liked this place so much that we went back twice during our visit. The food is excellent and they have a decent wine list that includes local Finger Lakes wineries. It's right on the water and boats are pulling in and out every now and then for meals here. Gorgeous view. Make reservations if you plan to arrive after... More
Had lunch with a friend. I enjoyed the beet salad with local cheese. And the chocolate chip cookie sundae with banana ice cream and caramel sauce was to die for.
When this restaurant opened in 2001 I was at the door to be one of the first to dine here. I've dined here over 50 times and never had a bad meal. Always good, fresh and served well. I've now moved to Charlotte, NC and can't find a restaurant that is as good as the Boatyard Grill. If your anywhere... More
We have been to this restaurant several times and always have a good meal and great service. Even though it was very busy because of parents weekend at local universities and colleges they managed to handle with out a problem. Highly recommend especially in the warmer weather so you can really enjoy the lake
I've enjoyed lunch twice at Boatyard Grill and was not disappointed. My first meal was the Georgie Peach Grilled Chicken entree. Just thinking about this sweet and savory dish makes my mouth water. The chicken was moist and the mashed sweet potatoes perfectly cooked. On my second visit, I enjoyed the Gutenburger. The applewood bacon was nice and crisp and... More
We had a wonderful meal at the Boatyard while visiting Cornell. The parking is a little difficult but the location on the edge of the lake is beautiful. Unfortunately because it was so crowded we received a table in the corner of the restaurant with a not very good view. We did call ahead and there was no wait but... More
My wife and I stopped here this afternoon after doing some wine tasting. Walking in the place reminded me of a resteraunt on the coast with their nautical theme. We were there between dinner and lunch so it wasn't that busy. I started with the clam chowder that was one of the best I've had and my wife had a... More
Great location and a welcoming, warm atmosphere. The food is quite good and is priced fairly for the overall experience.
We had a great dinner here, sitting on the patio overlooking the Ithaca Boat House (enclosed end of September given the cool temperatures outside.) Food was good and reasonably priced. Decent selection of wine. Parking was a bit of a challenge (but not for the folks being dropped off by a fairly new Rolls Royce that arrived just before us....)
