The good news is the our waitress Elle was excellent. She was attentive, helpful and pleasant. She even notified the manager when my wife's meal was less than expected. My wife has eaten at the Boat Yard Grill previously and had the salmon with the citrus sauce. She was delighted with it. This instance knowing what the salmon with the... More

A beautiful evening at a great dining spot. Aiden, our server, was friendly and very professional. Our meals were all great and served in a timely fashion. Our table had a great view of the the inlet to Cayuga Lake and the Cornell University Rowing Teams as they ran their training drills.

We made the mistake of visiting Ithaca on a visiting weekend where the town it overtaken by thousands of students and their families, so almost every restaurant had a 1-2 hour wait and you'd be expecting complete chaos. Yes, we did have to wait 90 minutes for a table, but there was no chaos. The restaurant was packed to the... More

We have visited the Boatyard several times. The food is always wonderful and so is the service. It is one of our fav's when visiting Ithaca. We look forward to going again really soon.

I had dinner at The Boatyard Grill for the first time last weekend. The atmosphere was exactly what I like in a restaurant: relaxed, somewhat rustic, beautiful view, with friendly staff. The meal was tops: from wine to salad, entree to dessert. Our waitress was adorable -- knowledgable, helpful and attentive, without being over-bearing or intrusive. The owner or manager... More

Poor parking to start off with yet they have a golf card service mobile but since it was sprinkling, the rear seat was wet with no dryness by the driver or concern! We were seated on the rear deck of the restaurant but we passed by several empty booth's and tables but once we asked we were escorted and seated... More

We decided to eat here based on the reviews. We were not disappointed. Had the beef stew. It was served over lumpy mashed potatoes and garnished with a dollop of sour cream. Could not have picked a better meal to end a crisp fall day. The decor was chic and the whole atmosphere felt up to date and we'll tended.... More

The food at the Boatyard is still delicious - go for the buffalo chicken egg rolls and the pasta w/ white sauce & veggies. My go to. Anyways, we love the Boatyard but I was sad when they "updated" the decor/restaurant. The whole place used to be dark shiny wood like you'd see on a high end boat, to the... More
