This restaurant is fun with a positive, upbeat vibe. The menu offers something for everyone and isn't the same old boring items. You can tell a lot of art and energy goes into not only the menu but the whole atmosphere. My son will rarely eat seafood, so he opted for the NY Cheddar Burger while I went with the... More

Went to the Boatyard on a Wednesday night for dinner in a group of 10 people for a business dinner. After a wait over an hour (tables sitting empty) we finally were seated. It took another 20 minute wait for wait staff to get the drink orders for the people at the table that were not drinking alcohol. Food was... More

Stopped in on a whim while looking for waterside dining. Many places try to be 5 stars, others just hsppen to be 5 stars. They gave the corner seat on the dock, probably their best outdoor table. It was in the shade, but if you want full sun, you coukd get it. Large, very frosted mugs made a decent beer... More

This was our 2nd visit to the Boatyard. Good sized restaurant with a creative menu. Appetizers were excellent. Large bar area with comfortable seating in booths and tables. Service was excellent. Food was tasty. We'll be back again.

I want to like this place so I keep giving them a chance. The last meal I had was mediocre and the waitress couldn't even be bothered to bring bread. The meal before that the burger was like a hockey puck and she "forgot" to put in the dessert order. Had to wait almost 30 minutes and no suggestion of... More

A client brought me to try the Cracklin' Calamari. My first time with calamari. It was delicious! The chipolte dipping sauce was amazingly addictive. For dinner I went with the Blue Crab Stuffed Shrimp which was so juicy and tender. The lake was a superb setting to relax and have fun. For a business dinner, it worked well in that... More

I was visiting my daughter who lives in Ithaca last July and decided to have lunch here since its one of her favorite places to eat & I can honestly say that this restaurant failed to disappoint. The view is absolutely breathtaking and the food was delicious. I had the New England crab cake and it brought the most amazing... More

Last June, while I was visiting my family over at Ithaca, we decided to dine here because of the amazing Cayuga Lake view. Not only was the scenery gorgeous, but the service was excellent. I tried the wood fried chicken pasta and it was great, my cousin had the baby back ribs and they were super tender and delicious. I... More

I visit relatives in town often and they have always rave about The Boatyard. I went for my first time yesterday and had the Georgia Chicken. The food was perfect and the view of the lake is stunning. Our server was great and available for everything even though we had a big group. Its such a nice place for dinner.

We needed a place to go for food while spending the night at at lakeside B&B. We came by boat, so this needed to be a waterside restaurant. There are a few not he lake, but we'd heard good things about the Boatyard Grill and so off we went to find it. For those boating not he lake, Boatyard is... More
