I ordered the Baby Back Ribs and my girlfriend ordered the Steak and Shrimp Bordelaise. I also ordered a Cesar Side Salad. One of the best Salads on the planet but the Ribs were very small and the Steak and Shrimp only had one Shrimp with it along with a baby steak! I can understand the small portions but the... More

Fit the bill for the casual outdoor lakeside dining we were seeking with our 5 year old. The potato chips laced with blue cheese and bacon were a guilty indulgence. But even those chips were a little stale, and the grilled shrimp a hint less than fresh. Overall a little too mainstream creamy and fried American style food for my... More

Stopped here for lunch. Great location right on the water with a decent menu and attentive service. But on a rather unbusy weekday, it seemed to take forever for the kitchen to get our order out. Can't imagine what it is like when the place is busy.

I loved this restaurant when it first opened in Ithaca. It is one of the few local attractions that faces the water and has an indoor-outdoor setting. I returned this year after a gap of a few years and the food is not as good as it used to be. Before they had excellent salads, glowing summer salads that were... More

We were in Ithaca for a romantic getaway and chose The Boatyard Grill for the lake setting. The place was packed on a Monday night, so we figured this was an indication of its popularity, and we were not disappointed. Although we waited about twenty minutes for a table, the food and service was well worth it. Our waitress, Patty,... More

A romantic dinner with a lovely view and amazing food. Dinner at the Boatyard Grill was delicious, I especially appreciated the variety of small plate options. Local ingredients were a plus and the pink sangria and mango margarita topped the meal off! Perfect place for a walk after dinner!

Great location. Ok food. Too many mistakes to mention. Staff forgot to bring our salad and bread. Ordered the 'special' and they forgot a key element that was part of the dish. Seemed like a comedy of errors. Not worth the price or the hype. Would not come back or recommend.

We were a party of eight with a tastes rangING from burgers well done and charred to fish as rare as you dare, large and small appetites, plus a gluten free member. The Boatyard accommodated us all! And the food was yummy. It was a lovely Saturday night so eating outside would have required a long wait, but the beauty... More
