Good coffee, good food selection in a thoughtfully decorated cafe. A bit of a throwback, with a hint of Woodstock and 60s mood. Definitely not your run of the mill Starbucks. Good for a stop while strolling Ithaca's downtown. A bit odd, like the rest of the town.

Only when I asked did I get info about the spiritual tradition, my experience was a well run and very present staff --very aware of customer AND the food was GREAT---sort of a self serve type , of place, yet our order was delivered right to our booth, we were asked other needs etc

We have a phenomenon today of "selective tolerance." Many who claim to be tolerant are in fact highly critical of counter-intuitive world views. We were looking for a healthy place to eat and we were not disappointed. Our wraps were tasty and huge (the hummus wrap made with kalamata olives was exceptional), our smoothies were delicious, and we loved people... More

Strange place run by religious fundamentalists. Hey, this is America, land of the free! You can experience firsthand our constitutional rights in action while sipping on some coffee, eating a muffin and the show is complimentary!!

It's a pity that we discovered this place only on our last day in Ithaca, NY. This cafe is operated by a local group of "the Twelve Tribes". Happy people with great attitude who serve good food with a big smile. Do not miss their house Roast Beef sandwich. Really best in class. In general they bake in store all... More

We were visiting the area and doing some shopping in Ithica. We wanted some lunch, something healthy, that would satisfy my family and meet my vegetarian needs - and bonus, it had good coffee! Loved the atmosphere; like nothing I have seen before. Portions were very large. Something that will always stick out in my mind from visiting the area.

My family and I stumbled upon this cafe while strolling through town and none of us could resist the decor! We decided to give it a try for brunch before a waterfall hike. Our kids (8 and 5) equally loved the tree house feeling and the waffles. My husband had the egg and cheese bagel and I had the tuna... More

I went to dinner with a new friend in Ithaca and as we were walking along The Commons we decided to grab a quick bite. She suggested this place and it is unlike any place I have been. Very nice people, interesting food and drinks and a good experience. If you like natural, organic, and different by all means go... More

Really interesting vibe, but the food is good and mate's involved so it's worth going! Check it out!

Good coffee in a "woods" environment on the main street. Good place for lunch - we had the chili, but there is a reasonably extensive menu. This is part of a small chained owned by a religious group, the 12 tribes, but they don't press their beliefs on you and the food and coffee are a cut above.
