Enjoyed Brunch at AGAVA. We were celebrating our 29th Wedding Anniversary. Hubby chose a Brunch flatbread with egg, cheese and lots of other yummy stuff that he proclaimed was delicious. It was quite ample to say the lead. I chose one of the Brunch specials - short ribs with cheesy grits and fried eggs. Could have fed a family of... More

The food is varried and usually well prepared. Many of the specials are adventurous and a taste delight. Most of the servers are very good to excellent with a few exceptions. Their regular menu has good variety and their margaritas are superb. They also have an excellent selection of quality Tequilas.

I tried agava for the first time with a few friends. We went for lunch and all of us ordered two plates of food: salad and a main dish. I ordered off the daily special menu, which let me pick any two dishes from the list for a good price. While we waited, we were served chips and salsa (the... More

Bartenders were great. Thank goodness, since the place was packed and we had no reservation. Kitchen is a little slower than most, though the food is usually very good. I recommend checking out the daily ceviche. Monday is open mic night. Weekends, they have local bands. Good stuff!

A very popular restaurant with locals, so get there early or book ahead would be better. Very good choice of wines at the bar and the staff are extremely helpful with recommendations and selections. Food is very good & if you're staying in Ithaca a while... you'll be back

The lady at the front was not very friendly. The food was very good. The glasses were dirty. The waitress was very nice. Overall a good experience

So here is the deal. Decent food? Yes. Decent prices? Yes. Decent service? Hell no. Decent portions? Eh, depends what you get. Was here for lunch and had Angela as a server. The fact that Angela has a job here tells me the management is not too concerned with service. She took our order and the next we saw her... More

Like some other Ithaca restaurants this place uses a lot of local ingredients to create their dishes and everything I have had there has been amazing. It is food with a south western flare and usually it is a lunch place for me. The flat breads are probably what they are best known for but they offer tacos burgers salads... More

Really spectacular food, cooked unpretentiously but with great surprises: brussels sprouts ought not to be that delicious. Sitting outdoors is great if the weather allows. Outside of the town center, and well worth the trip.
