We've been here twice. Both times the food was very good. They are usually busy but the servers are friendly and efficient. Now for the food. The chicken sate is tasty, but average. And the vegetable spring rolls were good. I personally liked their peanut sauce but my wife thought it wasn't as good as she's used to. On my... More

Long wait. Waiters are too busy to acknowledge your presence. Tables are next to each other. Very loud. No alcohol, although you can bring your own. Food was just ok. If you are from NYC you can't be impressed by this.

We were in Ithaca for a family reunion and decided on Saigon kitchen because of the excellent reviews it had online. We ordered over $250 worth of food for take-out and everything we ordered was delicious. From the pho, the grilled pork on rice and the pork banh hoi noodles, we were not disappointed. I would recommend sticking to the... More

Been 3 times now, twice on this weeklong trip to Ithaca for a Summer seminar. The food has been consistently excellent. The flavors are fresh and appropriately spicy, the presentation is interesting and the service is fast (once you're seated, which can take awhile). That said, its noisy, a little crowded, and not fussy. So if you're looking for a... More

The food here is really good. Fresh, flavorful and made to order. This is the only place in Ithaca worth getting Pho. I also really love their fish cooked in a black bean sauce. The prices are downright affordable and this place is always packed. Its a small place so dont go there expecting to have a private conversation. The... More

Saigon Kitchen is a great, informal asian restaurant with menu items that include vietnamese, thai, and chinese. The food is very fresh and tasty; I have never had a bad dish here, though I prefer some dishes to others. If they are very busy, they may rush the service and not cook the vegetables in your dish, but the generally... More

Last trip here was not very good. Service was slow, owner was more concerned about us sitting at a two person table rather than a four person table even though the place was mostly empty. Food just was not very good either. Soup was bland. Have had good meals here before but this one was not good.

We went to this restaurant because of its high rating on Tripadvisor and because we were curious about Vietnamese food. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The appetizer we shared, Imperial Meat Rolls was fairly tasteless. The Pho Ga we shared was just OK, nothing special. The same was true of the Saigon Kitchen Curry. Perhaps we just chose the wrong things,... More

Food was delicious and very fresh. Service attentive. Love the photos and very vibrant atmosphere though it was pretty noisy. Will definitely return.

A delightful spot off the busy downtown; very popular as the food is good and the lunch crowd can be large so expect a wait...but worth it. Prices are very fair and staff is very friendly and accommodating. Try the Pho...yum.
