We ate here twice during a 10-day stay in Ithaca, once for dinner and once for lunch. Excellent food and service, and good value too. Bring your own bottle if you want to have wine with your dinner!

Loved the food and the service. Food is prepared quickly. It is small can be a little crowded but not really a big deal for my wife and I we love it!

We went to dinner with a group of friends, before an evening theater performance, and had a delightful time together at Saigon Kitchen. The food was delicious, and we had gotten there early, before it began to get crowded, thankfully. This is a small restaurant; they really need to expand, as it's also a popular one. I had been here... More

The food here is superb, I can't fault it at all - very authentic and will all the right condiments etc to boot. There's no alcohol, but you can bring your own. Go early as this place fills up quick, as does the waiting list, but it's well worth the wait, and the turnover of tables is pretty quick.

We arrived early, around 6:30, and there were maybe 20 people milling around outside waiting for a table. I took that to be a good sign. I would say their popularity is deserved. The Vietnamese food is pretty good. Presentation is a bit fancier than what you'd find in a more down-n-dirty pho place, and portions are smaller. Waitstaff were... More

This was my fifth visit to this restaurant and it was quite disappointing. The servers "got the job done" but without a smile or any pleasantness. The fresh spring rolls were filled almost completely with rice noodles, no fresh herbs, and two very thin slivers of shrimp in each one. The Pho I got was supposed to have rare beef... More

I was visiting and selected this spot to have some Vietnamese food. Our experience was quite mixed. Service was terrible....but smiling and friendly at times. First, there were people waiting outside for tables. I went inside to leave our name and the lady at the podium ignored me there for about ten minutes, while she cleared tables and took people... We've been here twice. Both times the food was very good. They are usually busy but the servers are friendly and efficient. Now for the food. The chicken sate is tasty, but average. And the vegetable spring rolls were good. I personally liked their peanut sauce but my wife thought it wasn't as good as she's used to. On my... More

Long wait. Waiters are too busy to acknowledge your presence. Tables are next to each other. Very loud. No alcohol, although you can bring your own. Food was just ok. If you are from NYC you can't be impressed by this.

We were in Ithaca for a family reunion and decided on Saigon kitchen because of the excellent reviews it had online. We ordered over $250 worth of food for take-out and everything we ordered was delicious. From the pho, the grilled pork on rice and the pork banh hoi noodles, we were not disappointed. I would recommend sticking to the... More
