Nice atmosphere, good food, full bar, downtown....I'd go back!

My teen age kids and I had an early dinner at Mia on a Saturday night. Tried lots of the small dishes and my son also had a large curry dish, (Panang, and quite spicy!) The calamari was very good as were the pork buns. Also had a tofu salad, wontons, and raman. Definitely tapas with an Asian... read more

I like Mia's - lets get that out of the way! Miss tried to be an Asian fusion place but some of their stuff is just plain boring. I'm not sure how "fusion" they are versus being an Asian place that randomly adds a couple different cuisines to their menu. But don't get me wrong. Most of the food is... More

Loved the restaurant, the atmosphere, the choices, the menu. And the wait staff was great too. Great drink selection. My mom ordered Sake and they brought her a lovely selection of cups to choose from for her drink.

After arriving as two medium sized parties under a single reservation, we were seated as one large party at our insistence. Perhaps that was a tactical mistake on our part, but the management--including the owner--put an effort into honoring our request, but not without objection and a significant delay. We were not asked for orders. Again, I was not in... More

We stopped in -- even though the Commons is still torn up -- for a meal after dancing at Lot 10. Mia has a diverse selection of tapas or entrees. The quail, shrimp, beet & arugula salad, and sweet potato fries were all very good. Quail and fries were slightly too oily, but delicious. The wine list is also nicely... More

had a very early pre-concert dinner here of three tapas hamachi quite tasty (3pc) marinated octopus salad, good but my least favorite and a tinyt but succulent little rock lobster tail with chili sauce, perfectly cooked, meaning not over cooked. That and a glass of local riesling set me back 52 dollars with tip. Woud have loved to have the... More

The food here is very yummy. Prices are a little high and portions are a little small for some dishes, BUT it really is a nice place to go for a treat and to try new foods. There are many items on the menu, so its possible to spend strategically and get a really nice meal without busting your budget.... More

Mia's has small plates and big plates and so many great options that it is possible to try many of the dishes by ordering a number of them as small plates. We had two vegans and one vegetarian in our party of 6 and there was plenty to choose from for them also, which does not happen often in restaurants!... More

Our group of six ordered at least two small plates each but sorry to say we left hungry. It was all tasty but we should have ordered more. The cocktails were tasty but $10 each. Ambience was pleasant. There are so many great restaurants in Ithaca, I would try another before returning to Mia.
