Have lived in Thailand, we have fairly high standards for Thai cuisine and lament the dumbed- down-for-farangs-flavors found in some U.S. Thai eateries. But Tamarind is really authentic and really good! Their Panang curries are outstanding (Yes, they have a certain consistency that comes from the deliberately not-so-finely-ground peanuts on which the sauce is based.) The red curry tasted of... More

Have either of their soups as carry-out and skip the rest. The panang curry had an overabundance of grainy textured sauce, few vegetables and little chicken. The Thai Spicy Noodles were OK, but again, just a token amount of pork and vegetables. There are many Thai and Asian inspired eateries in Ithaca. One can pick and choose which dishes are... More

Confusion over our reservation for 6 people, a dated interior needing a serious decorating overhaul, a sign explaining in detail how they removed the mandatory 18% tip for parties of 6 or more but asking customers to remember to be fair to the waiters, Thai food that was okay, not memorable and consequently a lot of uneaten food (no we... Hadn't tried Thai food in awhile after an experience somewhere else... But my husband wanted to try this place! So glad we went, beautifully displayed food that was so delicious. Nice staff too! Judging by the outside, we weren't even sure it was open... It's very plain and shades drawn. Don't let that fool you!

Excellent Thai food. The service is very good. They serve the food quickly. Order the spiciness to taste. Well worth a visit. I eat here regularly for lunch and dinner.

We pulled in the parking lot and by the looks of the exterior, we immediately were going to leave. I decided to run in real quick to check the interior out. Good thing I did! The atmosphere and food was AWESOME. The coconut soup was the best I've ever had. Everything was DELICIOUS! The service was great. I highly recommend... More

Excellent food, but I wished my pad kee mao was spicier. They were out of tod mun, which is a dish that I order whenever I can find it. Don't visit on Saturday at 7:00 PM :-)

As a huge fan of Thai food and was accompanied by a Thai friend of mine who works in the fresh produce business like myself we thought the food was very good. Great duck dishes.

The food smelled of rotten and stale vegetables and caused an upset stomach. I ordered level 5 spiciness for a curry. The curry was bland, barely level 2. The papaya salad was inedible. On top of this, the service was extremely bad: the first waitress could not understand plain and simple English, including words like "rotten", "unhealthy" and "stale". The... More

Food was simple and it tasted good although it was not exceptional. Service was good too. Its the kind of place you can frequent, not expecting to be "wowed" but you can expect consistency
