We luckily stumbled upon this little gem after stopping at a brewpub that was closed. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls and Skillet Wings with Garbage Sauce which were absolutely delicious and plenty for two people! The Spring Rolls were stuffed with lots of shredded chicken and served with a nice sauce. The wings were garnished with green onion... More

I have tried many of the burgers they are always cooked perfectly as ordered. The Skillet wings are amazing and they have a great selection of beer. I love making burgers, I would usually take mine over anyone else's but I'll have to admit they have me beat!

Great burgers, but there is a lot more on the menu. Always busy a little noisy, but moderately priced, good selection of beers.

A nice beer selection, with some interesting local and US-wide beers. The food is great, especially the burgers & sandwiches, and the fries were fantastic. Portions are huge!

On the way home from Michigan to NJ we decided to get off the Thruway and drove through the finger lakes. We stopped in Ithaca for lunch and liked the sound of the Ithaca Ale House. It didn't disappoint. The Chicken Club was very tasty, with good seasonings and nice fries. The Black & Bleu Chicken Sandwich was excellent; while... More

We always like to dine outdoors, so that was a plus! The burgers & French Dip were delicious as were the drinks! I even found a beer I loved (Apricot Wheat) and I'm so NOT a beer drinker :) We'll be back!!

Service was good and there was a good selection of beer. It was big enough so that, although busy, it did not feel crowded and crazy. Flatbreads were great

We stopped for lunch while in downtown Ithaca, and The Alehouse was the best thing about downtown. We ate at the bar, the bartender was friendly, knowledgeable and did not try to foist anything on us, he explained the specials, answered questions and served us promptly. The chicken and brisket specials were as good an any we've ever had, anywhere!.... More

We visited Ithaca on our way to Glass Magnolia B & B for a late lunch. The sidewalk portion had one table left so we were able to enjoy the weather and the service. We greatly liked the atmosphere. Of course, the best part was the food and the beer. We split the SpicyThai Lemon Grass Chicken Flatbread that was... More

Stopped in here for dinner one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Probably the best seafood chowder I've ever had. Also had a roast beef sandwich and a garden salad, both were terrific. Friendly, comfortable atmosphere and great service too. The hostess somehow recognized that I was Canadian and gave us some great ideas on places to visit in the area.... More
