This place is amazing!!!

Very nice facility. While no free tastings, unless you do the 1 hour tour, the flights are very diverse and cheep. The food here is amazing and everything is fresh- gotta try the beer cheese soup any time of the year, to die for! Homemade rootbeer floats make a great dessert also.

This place has great burgers. Good portions. Half of our party had burgers and they enjoyed it. I had a Reuben sandwich and it was good. They also had a good selection of beer and the menu does recommend what beer goes with what entree. The waiter also will recommend the beer for you.

I thought the food was ok. Guess I didn't think it was anything amazing but their burger menu was nice variety.

The prices are very high for this type of food, especially when it was not cooked as we requested. On top of that, our server was indifferent when we informed him we weren't happy with our meals. He essentially just shrugged and walked on by.

They have an impressive beer selection and a knowledgeable wait staff. However, the food menu is limited. I ordered a veggie burger. It was cold, dry and the toppings were not the freshest. There are better places to eat a short walk away.

The menu features typical pub grub which is fine for the Ale House. They have a great selection of brews. I wish I remember the name of the bar keep - but his knowledge of beers wasexpansive - best I have run across in a long time.

I first went to the Ithaca Ale house in November and then revisited on a Sunday in January. We arrived about 5 minutes before the end of brunch and were told we could order from the brunch menu, a pleasant surprise. I love Eggs Benedict and the Ithaca Ale House presents an extremely hardy version of Lobster Eggs Benedict. There... More

This was our first visit to Ithaca and this was our first stop after a 5 hour drive. We were hungry and expectant. Our server Stephanie was friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. We both ordered burgers (their specialty). They were cooked perfectly as ordered. She got fries as a side and I chose a salad. The food was plentiful, served hot... More

Been years since I was in Ithaca. Not sure if its on the way up or way down. Or treading water. Ale House not on the top of the ratings list, but they had a good selection of beer and hockey on TV. Bar, table or booth seating. Drafts shown on a video screen - should have let menu run... More
