I went to the Ithaca Ale House a couple times, for beers and burgers. Beer selection isn't very impressive for a ale house, but the burgers are good. Great size menu, lots of choices. Service is also good, friendly. It's a very casual restaurant, perfect for a guys night out. Maybe not a date night.

I was disappointed that they didn't have a larger selection of local beers. The big sexy burger was ok.

The food was very good. Nice selection on the menu. From the quac blt to the beef and bleu, even the ancho chicken salad, everyone was satisfied at our table. Great beer selection. Place is crowded, especially when a big sporting event is on tv. Only complaint, the broth in the 6 onion soup was very bland. The onion ring... More

Good, varied, beer selection both on tap and in bottles. Small place in the happening part of town. Food was good, service also good. Looking for beer and burgers, great spot

Grabbed lunch while watching the US soccer game here. Small with tight seating. Good craft beer selections. Only complaint was AC didn't work well.

Typically we don't plan meals out when our dog is with us but my daughter and I really wanted to sit outside and enjoy a beautiful day-we had our dog with us and leaving her in the car while we ate was not an option...we decided to just walk Aurora Street and ask if the outside seating area was dog... I enjoyed a Surf and Turf Burger. Although it was to big to eat together, the crab cake was excellent, as was the burger. We sat outside and that was nice. My only complaint was that I was sitting near a sewer pipe and every little while I would smell sewer gas.

Had a wonderful dinner here during the Ithaca Festival weekend. The weather was beautiful so we dined outside. Not sure of which beer to try so our waitress brought me a sampling of several. Ended up with a wonderful blueberry beer. Ordered the BBQ chicken flatbread pizza...delicious. My sister-in-law ordered the cheese steak pizza, and it was okay; the BBQ... More

Arrived at 5 pm on a beautiful Monday, the outside seating was full, but several tables available inside. Nice bar and decent sized restaurant, we sat immediately and service was friendly, prompt, and attentive. The place is a tad on the loud side, even when half full, but it is a sports bar, and we were ok with the noise... More
