We used to come here when they first opened and it was great, and very hard to get into. But I'm afraid then days have past, now it's ok, but nothing special, and you can get in whenever you want to. Now don't get me wrong, it's still good but just not as great as it once was.

This restaurant has a large menu with everything on it as delicious as you can imagine. Worth the visit. Prices are moderate and portions are plentifull.

Food is excellent; service is also very good. Place is small and gets noisy when crowded, like on weekends.

Great restaurant. Food has always been good whether going with just my wife or a large party. Their sauces of any kind are wonderful. Don't miss the clams and sausage appetizer and the champagne lobster is great. They also have some real nice steak. I usually get the filet mignon w/shrimp and a brown sauce. Service is friendly and the... More

A Taberna is an exceptional restaurant where quality and freshness come first. The paella is incredible as is their sangria. The freshly made potato chips served with hot bread at your table are an awesome start to every meal. Make reservations on the weekends.

The food was ok, but it was very salty. The service was ok, but very, very, slow. The place was ok, but very noisy and the seating was very badly laid out.

This is small, free-standing restaurant on a busy road, in a location that no other restaurant has lasted so long. Service is good, food is Portuguese-Spanish in style, and is reliably good. It tends to get crowded and you sit "cheek by jowl" with the next table, but don't let that keep you from trying out A Taberna.

A friend made the reservation knowing I'm a picky eater. This restaurant was a find even for me. Self described as a Portuguese, Mediterranean and Contintal restaurant, it's menu fills the bill. They start you with olives, home made chips and bread. Then you have to choose between the types of cuisine. The snails in garlic sauce would have been... More

We stuck to dishes recommended as authentic Portuguese and wow...we loved it. I started with the snails. Usually in continental restaurants they come en crute or in the shell...they waste no time with that. This was literally a casserole of all snails in a delicious garlic butter...there were so many it could have been my meal! My husband got the... More
