We had visited Americana earlier in the day for a wine tasting. We learned that from 6-8 one can sit in the pavilion or the surrounding lawn and have dinner while listening to a musical group. Just a lovely setting a good way to spend a couple of hours.

While planning a day trip down the western side of Cayuga Lake, I looked up restaurants that we could visit for lunch. Based on reviews, we decided to stop at Crystal Lake Cafe without remembering that we had visited Americana Vineyards previously and did not care at all for their wines. (Disclaimer: we don't like most New York wines. Beer... More

We stopped here for a wine tasting on a very rainy afternoon. Great winery with live entertainment. It was very busy but the staff were great. We ended up having appetizers and dinner on the covered patio. Very relaxing way to spend the day.

I've loved Americana wines for several years & visit the winery often, but never had the chance to try out the cafe until recently. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside & everything was very nice. I had one of the specials, a flank steak served over macaroni & cheese, & it was wonderful. My husband had the... More

We drive from Rochester, NY to Ithaca, NY at least once every summer along the shore of Cayuga Lake (Rte 89). While there is wonderful ice cream (Cayuga Creamery) along the route, we'd never found a really great restaurant worth stopping at. Crystal Lake Café changed that! It's just a mile up the road from Rte 89 and well worth... More

We've dined here several times over the years on our annual trip to the area. The food is always good and inventive, the attached winery has good and varied offerings and it's a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy the surrounding scenery. This year there was a nice band playing also. Service was good and attentive.

The café setting is very welcoming and you can sip some of Americana's wines while you wait to be seated or as you await your meal. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly and do their best to make your time there a pleasant one. The chef turns out imaginative meals with a reliance upon freshly baked breads (better than... This restaurant is part of the American Winery located just outside of Trumansburg, NY. The food is freshly made offering great flavors. Purchase of a case of wine gives you a Patron Membership with reduced wine and restaurant prices for a year. Live music is offered throughout the summer.

Nice tasty lunch with friendly staff. My husband had the grilled cheese sandwich and clam chowder. I had a delicious salad. Purchased some fine wine too.

Food is the best in the finger lakes by far and in my opinion the best in NY State. The flavors and preparation are impeccable and you can tell there is passion and love behind each dish. Do yourself a favor and cap off your meal with an equally delicious dessert. Again, I cannot recommend this place enough and you... More
