On an annual basis we rent a cottage on Sixth Lake. As a result, Drake's Inn is a short walk for us and our August vacations are not complete without a visit to the restaurant/bar. This year, our party of five visited on a Thursday night. Drake's was VERY busy. As a result, while we were able to be seated... More

We just LOVE heading to Drakes for breakfast. The food is freshly cooked to perfection. It is worth the wait and the staff is always entertaining.

We were on a motorcycle trip through the Adirondacks and were riding through the rain, hoping to find food and up over the horizon came Drakes. In addition to being a dry haven for us, we loved the reasonable prices and home-style food! I had a tuna melt and it was wonderful. There is a little bar in a separate... More

Walking distance from 7th lake. Drakes has been a family breakfast tradition for over 50 years for us. Friendly staff and owners. Good home cookin breakfast. They handled a big family very well with exellent service. My kinda casual morning mountain atmosphere.

We were leaving Inlet the day after Columbus day, and most Inlet shops and restaurants had already closed for the break until winter season begins. So we were thrilled to find Drake's open for lunch- and we had the two best Patty Melt's ever. Yummmm

very popular place and it was very good food, but also very crowded, we waited more than 20 min to be seated and then another 20 to be waited on. tables are so close together that you had to walk sideways to navigate, and it was very hot inside. Though good, the food was not enough to keep us from... More

Although service can be somewhat slow, the food is worth the wait. Occasionally, the overworked wait staff can be surly, but they're working their butts off.

I've been visiting Drake's Inn since the mid 1980's and I stop there every time I come to Inlet. This time my wife and I were camping at nearbyLimekiln Lake and we had breakfast there three consecutive mornings and dinner on Sunday evening. Drake's is not a New York City Steak house and it's not McDonald's. Drake's is a homey... More
