Four of us had breakfast at Drake's on Sunday morning. While the food was average, the service was God awful. Only two other tables had patrons and yet it took an hour and ten minutes from the time we walked in until the time we were served. No excuse for that unless the chickens hadn't laid our eggs yet, which... More

Not from New York, my husband and I stopped into Drake's after an afternoon of hiking in the surrounding area. We went in and sat at the bar and in no time were welcomed by not only the bartender but the patrons (locals) too! Drake's has a very friendly atmosphere and we were fortunate enough to get a glimpse of... More

A local favorite, this had a " log cabin feel" that made it a nice place to relax and, enjoy a leisurely breakfast.

Good food with a home cooked feel. Breakfast is the best. They usually have a home cooked special for supper every night.

By far one of the nicest dining experiences. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs as diners. The food was superb and was obviously homemade. Our food choices ranged from spaghetti to steaks and all were great. I would highly recommend this culinary experience.

On an annual basis we rent a cottage on Sixth Lake. As a result, Drake's Inn is a short walk for us and our August vacations are not complete without a visit to the restaurant/bar. This year, our party of five visited on a Thursday night. Drake's was VERY busy. As a result, while we were able to be seated... More

We just LOVE heading to Drakes for breakfast. The food is freshly cooked to perfection. It is worth the wait and the staff is always entertaining.

We were on a motorcycle trip through the Adirondacks and were riding through the rain, hoping to find food and up over the horizon came Drakes. In addition to being a dry haven for us, we loved the reasonable prices and home-style food! I had a tuna melt and it was wonderful. There is a little bar in a separate... More
