My family likes the Moose River area because the country is wilder and more remote (once you get a way from Old Forge/Inlet) and the people are more real than the plastic and polyester crowds in other sections of the Daks. If your looking for a family restaurant this is the place to go. I loved the people who worked there, they were more then hospitable. The food was phenomenal, I had the Maple Bourbon Sirloin and it was cooked to perfection. The rooms were basic, but clean, and comfortable. I would stay here 10 times over, and recomend it to all.

If you are looking for a place to pass out for the night and want to relive dorm life this is your place. We stayed here on a Fri and Sat night.
