Great staff, made us feel very welcome and was sure to check on our orders often to be sure we were all set.

Can not believe this place still has open doors. My group of twelve (including two children between 8 and 10, one 6mo and a 1.5yo baby stopped in on our way out of Limekiln. We usually stop at the Old Barn but they would not be open until noon and it was 10 am. One of the adults in the... More

My wife and I were there in August. We waited an hour to be served and there were only 3 other parties there. When the food finally arrived the waitress said the food would be worth the wait but that was far from the truth. While my wife's fish dinner was good the spaghetti with eggplant was Mediocre at best.... More

Our party of five visited for the Cafe for breakfast. The breakfast menu is manageable - the number of choices is not overwhelming or bewildering. You know and recognize the dishes. Most of them would be characterized as diner mainstays. We tried five different breakfast options and also got an order of pancakes and an order of french toast for... More

My family and I have been vacationing in Eagle Bay for 9 years this year. Hard times food used to be wonderful, now its absolutely in the garbage. This week we went 3 times. First time, we waited close to 30 mins for lunch in the middle of the day!! The second time, we sat for 40 mins without a... More

We had been to this restaurant for breakfast the year before and it was very good, so we thought we would try it for dinner. Bad thought. They had a prime rib dinner special that my husband opted for and I ordered the fried shrimp dinner. My husbands was edible and he gave it between 3 1/2 to 4 stars... More

I still think the Hard Times is cute and has some decent prices, but the service seems to have gone downhill in the past 2 years. There's a much longer wait for the food (when empty), the waitresses aren't as good as they used to be, and they removed the main reason we'd go, which was a delicious bowl of... More

We stopped for dinner on our way thru town. The table was dirty and we waited so long for a drink that we switched to the bar but there was no bartender. The table was dirty and there was broken glass on the bar. Food was awful too. We were told it was off season so they were short handed.... More
