We went to the Woods restaurant on August 27th. It wasn't exactly crowded-maybe 8 tables seated. None the less, we were told by two different people that they'd be with us shortly. Finally, a man came over to ask if we had reservations. There were only 2 names on his reservation list. We told him no, and he offered us... More

Had dinner here on two consecutive nights. Lovely old historic property has been well restored. Nice wide selection on the menu. Everything we had was very good. The dock and gazebo were gorgeous and styled after the adirondack great camps. Quite charming. The wraparound porch outside was spectacular. We walked down to the water's edge and sat in Adirondack chairs... More

We arrived with no expectations- and we walked away very impressed. The Woods Inn (NOT to be confused with the North Woods Inn located on the same road) has it perfected- delicious food, comfortable and clean common areas, charming adirondack ambiance, and wonderful staff. They also have an impressive view of the sunset- a sight the entire establishment celebrates and... More

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet at a very reasonable $6 per person. Look out over the lake while eating and sip a cup of Starbucks Coffee. The kids loved the sausages and pancakes. The owner Charlie Fry was involved himself in the service and even gave us a tour of the inn. We look forward to visiting next year and trying... More

We had a large dinner party at the Woods Inn at the end of June and our dinner and experience were so outstanding that we made a point to come back for one more nice dinner before we left town later in the week. Since many of our party did not have cellular reception while visiting the Inlet and Eagle... More

The Woods Inn is a very old and rustic structure, beautifully located on the shores of 4th Lake. I thought the food was just OK, I ordered the shrimp and linguini which came in a very small bowl with 4 pieces of shrimp. My wife got the prime rib which was done nicely and they have a good kids menu.... More

We try and get up to the Adirondacks a few times a year and have been doing so for years. And I have to admit, that I am pretty biased about the "Woods Inn". We have stayed here and try and have a meal here whenever we can. We love it and it has never disappointed us. So we had... More

We stopped in for a lunch break during a good day of snowmobiling on Saturday Feb 15, 2014. I tried the prime rib sandwich and it was the best sandwich I have ever had! Even the au jus was the best I have ever tasted.
