Had camped in this area all my life. remembered the ol barn from when i was a kid and had to stop. The inside of the place is out of this world .....so much history to look at. However prices a little high, charging for every little thing you added to your meal such as sauces ect... meal was not... More

There are so many great places to eat in the Inlet area, don't make the mistake of choosing The Ole Barn. Seated immediately and then waited 20 minutes for the waitress to take our orders. Jordan, our server, was incredibly rude. Half an hour later we still had no bread or appetizer, no highchair for the baby, and no waitress... More

We were staying at the campground right down the road and decided to give this restaurant a try. As others have mentioned, it is a huge place but the way they have it sectioned off makes it feel welcoming. The menu had a range of dishes from sandwiches to entrees which I would classify as "American" cuisine with a few... More

We visited this restaurant on a Thursday night at about 6:30 p.m. When we entered the restaurant only one person was eating. One person in a restaurant that could seat several hundred. Wow! Then, despite the availability of numerous tables, we were seated immediately adjacent to the only other patron. That patron was eating without shoes and proceeded to engage... More

We have been coming to the Ole Barn off and on for many years. When we first started coming here it was very good. Then the quality seemed to go down (or maybe we just caught them on a bad night) so we stopped coming here for a while. We decided to try it again and were pleasantly surprised. The... More

TWe were a party of 6 on a busy Friday night in the Adirondacks. It was the only restaurant in Inlet that had no wait. We soon found out why. The fish was served uncooked. The waitress took 1/2 off the uncooked meal. The steak ordered was grizzley and had more fat than meat. Service was slow and the food... More

1st time had the rhuben, had a hard time finding the rhuben in it, very light on the amount of meat, not worth the cost. 2nd time waited 45 minutes to even get a menu, was not crowed, walked out without even getting any service.

I have stopped and ate at the ole barn many winters while up north snowmobiling. Hot Turkey sandwich is my favorite. My son gravitates toward the fried clams, which he customizes into an actual sandwich with some help from the staff. Local pub grub in a warm enjoyable setting. Whether they are very slow, or super busy it's ALWAYS worth... More

This is probably my favorite restaurant up in the area. The family is lovely, with a bunch of adorable little blonde girls. It's been family owned for years and years. The place is humungous, but still feels quaint, as there are areas with window views out to a lovely flower garden. There's a neat train the winds around up on... More

The BBQ sandwich, cheeseburger, spaghetti and chicken tenders were not edible. We sent them back. The owner and waitress didn't seem to care.
