A LITTLE BIT OF PARIS IN HUNTINGTON

Much like a French Bistro, Cassis is a low-key location that presents classic French Bistro food in a small establishment. Great food choices, including the usual mussel pots (great), duck leg confit, etc. Service shines as well. Worth a trip for sure!

A little bit of Paris right at home. Always delicious. Sadly, atmosphere marred by loud patrons. The summer is crowded with non- locals who think it's acceptable to bring the kids, it's not. This is a date night for grown ups only, please. We love it, but more in the winter months. Delicious meals, great service, again, leave the kids... More

A little piece of France awaits you in this charming little bistro. Make sure to order the mussels (moules) and frites when you're here. Succulent and brimming with the sea, they are delicious. Cozy and bustling, you'll be transported to Europe, if only for a while. I love this place and have been here many times.

This is as close as you can get to a true French cafe in Suffolk County, or Huntington. I like to go there for a quick lunch, the pate they serve with the baguette reminds me of Paris. It is a little tight and it can get noisy, but the food is priced reasonably and it is always good.

The wait staff here are incredibly friendly and efficient. The food is classic French bistro. It's very well-executed with few surprises. The onion tart is spectacular. The crepes are also very good. My standby is the grilled chicken sandwich with aloe on a fresh baguette with pommel frites on the side. The wine list is excellent. If you're in the mood... More

...and stop by Cassis. Traditional French favorites. Tight tables and always bustling. Perfect for a lunchtime tete a tete.

I've been coming here with my family for years and I always leave happy. The service is always the perfect balance of attentive but not annoying, the food is always delicious, and the atmosphere is always pleasurable. I've had brunch, lunch, and dinner here and it's always a great time. Although dinner is definitely their specialty. I think we've had... More

Cassis in Huntington serves a nice variety of classic French bistro cuisine, with the steak frites and various mussels dishes among my favorites. Nice touches include the complimentary pate served with warm crusty French bread. There are a few tables outside for the warmer weather.

Cassis is one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Huntington. The food, service, drinks, and decor are special. Enjoy the delicious spread for the bread. Top off dinner with one of their delicious desserts.

Sunday Brunch / lunch; greeted warmly and seated immediately (we had a reservation for 6 but 2 cancelled at the last minute). All four meals outstanding - Brie with figs; Waldorf salad and salad Nicoise, Cassis omelet - goat cheese and broccoli - bacon was so good even a vegetarian enjoyed it. Excellent coffee.
