Went for restaurant week and the food is always great, delicious and service is above average. Sure it get crowded, but it's worth it.

Cassis is a lively bistro style restaurant with good food and service. It's bustling most every night of the week and is also a great spot for lunch. Neither cheap nor overpriced. arrive early for dinner or be prepared to wait.

Tile floor, tin ceiling, no upholstery. -- it all adds up to an echo chamber in a small, strip restaurant. The food is good, but it's very difficult to hear the person sitting right next to you!! That place gives me a headache! With so much to choose from in the Huntington and Woodbury/Syosset neighborhoods, why choose Cassis?

the food was unacceptable! i ordered salmon and it was almost burned and dry with a terrible mix of overcooked pasta and chopped vegetables the chef really should do another job! on the top of that it is also very expensive.

I wanted to try this place for a long time since I enjoy French food. We were sat immediately and were quickly provided with bread and 2 types of butter and ordered 2 glasses of wine which were also served immediately. We ordered the honey glazed calamari which were delicious. So far everything is outstanding. Unfortunately everything does not go... More

This is my favorite restaurant in a town of about 50 restaurants. When I dine at Cassis I am transported to a bistro in Paris. The food and the service are excellent.

Noisy and closely spaced tables, but all is to be endured for the really good food. The pate served with the bread is excellent as are the fish dishes.

As I drive over the GWB on the outward journey to some of these beautiful small communities I always think to myself 'I should come more often'! However that mood dissipates when my outward 40 minute plus trip out degenerates into a 3 1/2 hour epic crawl home on the same route. Sometimes I have absolutely no idea how anyone... More

Started off a 5 star experience, the food was good, so what can they possibly do that wrong to deserve a 1 star? We have been to Cassis several times, the food is good, service good, but last night (Sunday) during a family celebration (6 adults), we were seated all the way in the back of the restaurant, just starting... I ate by myself, but I was seated immediately. I sat in the corner. The air conditioner felt good in this summer weather. The waitress served me water and good bread and butter fairly quickly. The luncheon prices were very reasonable. I ordered a crepe filled with goat cheese and mushroom. It was served hot. A side salad came with... More
