Trendy tapas

Visited this recently remodeled trendy restaurant on a Thursday night. Arrived around 7:30pm. No problems getting seated. Got noisy and crowded quite quickly. I at the risk of sounding like a broken record I do wish they would fix the many obstacles the various transportation authorities put in the way of enjoying a trip over and under the Hudson. Unless it a cunning plan to keep us out of the beautiful small towns of Long Island? The anticipation of trying a new restaurant... More

Staff was very good. Food is a changing selection of small plate dishes that are reasonably priced. Drinks can be expensive and drive up the bill. Mac & Cheese was excellent and not your mom's mac & cheese. Good selection of single malt!

We ordered about 5 plates, which they didnt all come out together, it was one after the other and there was a little bit of a wait in between. The waitress suggested the gilled chicken thighs which were our least favorite thing we ordered. The calamari was good, asparagus very greasy amd alot of batter, mac n cheese nothing special,... Food is tasty, but served small plate style. The waitress steered us wrong suggesting that we order 2 to 3 plates per person. We were a party of 5 and ordered 10 plates which ended up being too much food. The noise level prohibited conversation which for us was disappointing. A trio of live musicians was playing and singing jazzy... More

I love this restaurant. American bistro is my favorite type of food, and I love small plates because I can try more dishes. Every single dish I've had from this place is awesome. My favorite is the butternut squash cappuccino soup. It is so original and totally delicious. I try to come here for every birthday and anniversary.
