Mejor Mexican

Not sure if my Mexican is correct but this place does it right. Service can be spotty with inexperienced staff.

We loved the look of the outside seating and so decided to give this place a try. We got a jug of sangria that was rather excellent, I had a salad with shrimp that was delicious, my dad and husband had tacos they said were great and my mum a quesadilla. We also tried an amazing dessert they recommended, tres... More

Start with a margarita at the bar, and move to table side prepared guacamole. Fresh ingredients and attention to detail make the difference. On beautiful sunny days the front doors and windows open for a street side fiesta!

Traveling on business and looking for more "authenic" mexican food for dinner. This is clearly a popular place. Ended up working a few appetizers (guacamole, seviche and chips) for dinner. Outstanding all the way around. Liked the looks of the menu and plan on returning soon.

Besito feels more like a Manhattan restaurant, especially in the summer when plenty of twenty somethings are enjoying the house margaritas by the bar or at one of the sidewalk tables. The food is always good and more interesting than standard Mexican fare. Guacamole made table side is always a good choice to start. The house margaritas are made with... More

Was in the neighborhood and decided to eat there - 1st reason this palced looked busier than any other restaurants around - had tried before and the long wait made us go somewhere else - the receptionist was ready to accomodate and was no problem - somehow the seating area was a bit too warm sitting in the sun and... Not a big fan of mexican food but friends wanted to go as they said it had the best guacamole they had ever had. Well they sent the guac back three times as is was bland. I ordered the salad with chicken and it was like chewing on shoe leather. We tried to get our server(and anyone else who would... More

The adobo chicken taquitos were a delicious treat! Nice quality for the price. Certainly better than average if you're a fan of Mexican.

If you can get a reservation, do not pass this place up. Great food, service and value. The homemade guac is a must! Can not go wrong with anything on the menu!

We went here for brunch and was surprised the restaurant wasn't more crowded. It was Easter Sunday, so that may have been why they weren't packed, like they usually are. We were promptly shown to our table and a waiter quickly came over to take our drink order and ask if we'd like guacamole at the table. The guacamole was... More
