We had a great dinner here one night. The food was high quality and locally sourced. The bar had a good crowd as well. We would definitely eat there again. Seems to be the best mix of the new food culture of Hudson but with local flair as well.

This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend. The restaurant was practically empty when we arrived for a Sunday lunch. We placed our order and in the mean time many people arrived. However, after waiting almost 40 minutes for our lunches and watching everyone else be served before us we asked the hostess what was going on. We suspect that... More

The best dinner we had during our 5-day tour through the Hudson Valley. Started with the crispy artichokes and the roasted beet salad, both of which were very good. The duck confit was declared delicious by my husband and my spice rubbed skirt steak was fantastic. It was cooked to medium rare perfection and had just the right amount of... More

This was my third visit and I am no longer impressed by the cuisine. My tender swordfish was served over vegetables that were slightly under cooked and had gotten cold waiting for the swordfish which became cold in the spots where it touched the vegetables. My husband's steak and mashed potatoes on the other hand, were cooked and served perfectly.... More

Okay food, but not worth the price nor the noise. Can't carry on a conversation during peak dinner time. Mediocre burger with frozen food tater tots! Highly overrated by printed sources.

I used to visit this restaurant often a few years ago and always enjoyed it but went back yesterday for the first time... so disappointing... We started with the dates and bacon - bacon was cooked perfectly with the meaty crispness that paired beautifully with the dates. It was a bit overpowered by the puddle of maple syrup in which... At our innkeeper's recommendation, we had dinner at Swoon in Hudson. The restaurant is beautifully designed and had an interesting and eclectic menu. Unfortunately, there were two tots who ran about the restaurant screaming; not the fault of the restaurant, rather that of the parents, but it did take away from the sophistication of the venue. I had an excellent... More

So I wanted to love the restaurant. It was good not great. Some of the food was superb, the duck was truly delicious. Other dishes, for example the pasta, was ok but not great. Service was friendly but so disorganized. Initially they definitely forgot our main courses. I would say to go but to have muted expectations.

I was impressed and delighted from my first bite (fried artichoke hearts) to my last (peppered panna cotta with nectarines), not to mention the yummy Rose I drank with all of it. My entree was homemade pasta with duck confit. I can still taste the lemon in the sauce. I sat at the bar and was greeted by lovely staff... More
