Okay food, but not worth the price nor the noise. Can't carry on a conversation during peak dinner time. Mediocre burger with frozen food tater tots! Highly overrated by printed sources.

I used to visit this restaurant often a few years ago and always enjoyed it but went back yesterday for the first time... so disappointing... We started with the dates and bacon - bacon was cooked perfectly with the meaty crispness that paired beautifully with the dates. It was a bit overpowered by the puddle of maple syrup in which... At our innkeeper's recommendation, we had dinner at Swoon in Hudson. The restaurant is beautifully designed and had an interesting and eclectic menu. Unfortunately, there were two tots who ran about the restaurant screaming; not the fault of the restaurant, rather that of the parents, but it did take away from the sophistication of the venue. I had an excellent... More

So I wanted to love the restaurant. It was good not great. Some of the food was superb, the duck was truly delicious. Other dishes, for example the pasta, was ok but not great. Service was friendly but so disorganized. Initially they definitely forgot our main courses. I would say to go but to have muted expectations.

I was impressed and delighted from my first bite (fried artichoke hearts) to my last (peppered panna cotta with nectarines), not to mention the yummy Rose I drank with all of it. My entree was homemade pasta with duck confit. I can still taste the lemon in the sauce. I sat at the bar and was greeted by lovely staff... More

Great brunch, sort of a fancy American menu, but everything was well prepared and delicious. Great service -- we came back for dinner -- equally good. Reservations strongly recommended.

A lovely experience from start to finish. It's a beautiful, stylishly designed space at the southern start of Hudson's vibrant Warren Street. I'd say Swoon is #1 or #2 of the best dining spots in village but there is no snobbery or laurel-resting here: we were welcomed warmly and the entire staff strived to please. Since it was the peak... We arrived this afternoon on my first visit to Hudson. Had seen a good review so decided to go there for dinner. It absolutely surpassed anything we anticipated. The decor is simple but elegant without being intimidating or pretentious. We shares the Heirloom Tomato Salad, which was fabulous. We also had the Tuna Confit, which was good but I wouldn't... More

As a confirmed carnivore, I generally stay away from non-meat menus, but thought why not. It was surprisingly good and well presented and tasty and I wasn't looking for a cheeseburger as I left the restaurant.
