DABA opened in 2006 and since then has been offering a fine dining menu in combination with bistro style fare leaving something for everyone on the menu. Coupled with a full bar and a great eclectic wine list DABA also offers a tasting menu, with or without wine pairing. Reservations are a must on weekends. Also a charming double bar leaves opportunity to dine solo or keep it casual. DABA... How we advertise locally? "Ask Anyone."

Unfortunately closing

This was a trailblazer restaurant that opened when Hudson was just starting to take off. Unfortunately with the most recent demise of the owner, I understand that tonight was the last dinner before they close. RIP Daniel.

Fine, maybe only weak because we were there the night before they closed for a two week break, so they didn't have several items on the menu, but the attitude of the servers & host was, well...tired

Came in for appetizers and a drink before a dinner reservation elsewhere - great service and atmosphere, good selection of wines and great apps!

When we checked into our B&B we asked for recommendations for dinner and DABA was one of the restaurants recommended. We went to DABA on a Monday night and found the restaurant to be quiet with a front and back seating area. We were seated in the front by the windows and the soft lighting provided a very relaxing atmosphere... More

My daughter and I ate here tonight. We shared the kale salad with delicious dressing and pumpkin seeds and she had the chicken with a bed of crunchy veggies and I had the scallops. Everything was cooked perfectly and was sublime. The glasses of wine seemed a little skimpy. I'd rather have paid a few dollars more for a fuller... More

Attentive service; amazing food. We had the arctic char. Turnip puree. One of the best dishes I've ever had.

We tried this restaurant at the recommendation of our B&B and were not disappointed. Our waitress, Jessica was very friendly and accommodating. I was having trouble deciding between the special cod tacos and Arctic char so she suggested that we split the tacos as an appetizer - good call. The tacos were delectable especially the mashed white beans in the... More

Ate there two nights. Highly recommend their Swedish meatballs and the Arctic char. It was early in the week, so seating available.

We were in town for two nights and chose Da Ba because it offered something a little different. Be sure to make a reservation to assure being seated when you want to be. Also, ask for the front room as it is more atmospheric. The Swedish meatballs were excellent and came stacked liked cannonballs. The chicken was good but not... More

We highly enjoyed DABA. The atmosphere was a good balance between being lively and upbeat, but not being so loud that we couldn't have a conversation. Meatballs were the culinary highlight, and the pear margarita is a winner.
