Surprised

We've walked by this restaurant dozens of times but always passed it by because it looked too touristy. Now I'll just call it's decor quirky, but they do have a decent menu with some unique choices. I also liked the 3 salsas that came with complimentary bread that included a unique whole wheat... read more

I went to this restaurant as part of a business delegation. The service was good and decor attractive. While the starter we had was quite nice, it was agreed by most of us that the main course of steak was on the verge of being vile. Avoid.

I also liked the 3 salsas that came with complimentary bread that included a unique whole wheat baked flat bread. Attentive service, too.

After looking various restaurants we came by the restaurant San Miguelito where they serve Mexican food. The restaurant looks very pretty however the food from all three plates were so salty we required to order many drinks, also the place was out of some typical dishes and drinks making our choice quite limited, also the waiters were a little bit... We are vegetarians so we put the restaurants thru some tests and these guys were really helpful and accommodating. The price was moderate, not bad, not great. But i would certainly eat here again. Had a vegetarian Chiles Nogales. It was a little under cooked but the crackers (instead of salsa and chips) served beforehand were really awesome. Skip the... More

We were drawn to this restaurant because of its bright colors and whimsical nature. The walls have beautiful murals of characters from Mexican Loteria. I’m thankful we stopped in because it turned the right decision. Juan, our waiter promptly assisted us and provided sound recommendations, especially the local beer, Querétaro. It tasted great and was smooth. We tried the Panuchos... More

Obviously a lot of thought put into the decor which was fascinating. unfortunately, the place is let down by average food and waiters who think they are doing you a favour by serving you.

Had the best tortilla soup and tasty appetizer dish. My entree was a tuna steak "adobado" style. I love adobado tacos but took a chance with the tuna. Awesome!!!

Restaurant was recommended to us by locals, and although a bit pricier than other restaurants in the area, the food, location, and ambiance make up for the price.

Restaurant San Miguelito located in the 5 de mayo passage, one of the great car free streets in Querétaro, turned out to be a pleasant taste surprise. The restaurant is overdecorated for my taste, evan gaudy, so I was expecting a tourist trap taste with dishes you get served at any restaurant in Mexico that lures tourists. I was proved... More
