Good Italian Food

We have been twice in recent weeks to the restaurant, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times the service was excellent and the food was some of the best I have had for an Italian restaurant. The dining room is not large which is nice. We found room for desert both times and chose from a... read more

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent meal at this restaurant. The Carbonara and Fettucine De Mare were well prepared, very large portions. The Marinara Fra Diavolo sauce is outstanding. This is a modest restaurant with great food, well prepared, service was prompt and courteous. Our servers Diane and Brian were gracious, attentive and friendly. They provided excellent service.

My partner and I had broiled seafood platters for $30. Shrimp small hard burnt on outside, fish like mushy white paste, scallops sliced into smaller pieces burnt. Lobster tough. Salad bitter. Fried calamari bland. Tiramisu ok. Somebody stopped caring about this place a long time ago. Would have sent meal back, but did not want to make another family member... More

We arrived just as the restaurant was closing and the owner very graciously kept the restauant open for us and prepared a wonderful meal. He did not rush us, was hospitable and warm, and we enjoyed a delicious meal. His extraordinary hospitality to two travellers was one of the outstanding memories of our road trip!

My wife and I enjoyed a great home-cooked Italian meal with a friendly server and plenty of laughs among the crowd. We both felt like we were eating at a close friend's house - great atmosphere. The décor was fine, but nothing special. The food, however, was indeed great. My meat lasagna was more than I could eat. But the... More

Really good Italian fare. My husband had lasagna and I had chicken parm. Both were very good with wonderful flavor. The service was excellent. Our waitress, I believe her name was Diane, was very friendly and knowledgable. Many of the diners were obviously regulars by the way the wait staff spoke with them. That just reinforced the quality of the... More

Food was very good. Bread was burnt but other than that no issues. Prices a little on the high side. Hoped to use restaurant. com. coupon and would not accept today. I would return again

both couples enjoyed the food that was presented in a timely fashion where we didn't feel rushed to finish one course before the next was due. The bread was fresh and hot, the apps were generous, the soup perfect temp and the Osso buco not only fell off the bone it also was too much to eat at one sitting.... More

Just came from that place, and have some mixed opinions from the family: I had the NY Sirloin steak which was very good, and pretty large portion! yet, the side mixed sauteed vegetables (which were for sure home made and not a "frozen mixed") - were tasty, but very buttery. The Filet Mignon was a very decent cut yet too... More

I recently had lunch here and it was very good. I asked for something to be cooked a certain way that wasn't on the menu and they did not hesitate to make it for me. It was perfect. The portions are pretty generous and the staff is very nice. The Restaurant is very clean and the prices are pretty reasonable... More
