Have been here and the food wasn't to bad today we ordered the same thing again and it was bad. We started with the house salad and ordered the balsamic vinagarette and it was very acidic . My husband had the lobster tail and scallops which were both under cooked and mashed potatoes well...mashed. I had the lobster tail and... More

Boating and dining on the Hudson has always been a challenge, and Mariner's was no exception. My colleague and I both had the clam chowder and seafood salad, which was recommended by the waitress. The chowder was watery, and the salad was barely edible, and was missing some of the advertised ingredients. The lettuce was wilted and bathed in watery... More

We were seated as soon as we arrived. That was the last good part of the experience. We waited for 20 minutes before a loaf of bread was dropped at table (no plates to use) we ate the bread off our napkins. After another 10 minutes our waitress came and took our drink order. Again waited 10 minutes to get... More

For many years Mariners was a favorite. BUT THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THE LOBSTER AND SEA FOOD PLATTERS AS WELL AS SCALLOPS WERE THE WORST . We ordered desert and actually left it. We will not go back. The bill for 4 without drinks, $199.00 terrible,,,

Went to dinner with some friends on a beautiful Saturday evening in the Hudson Valley. Got a nice spot to sit on their outdoor deck on the banks of the Hudson river. Nice umbrellas on each table provided comfortable shade. Waitress was prompt and friendly. Everything was enjoyable except for the food. I ordered the fisherman's platter. The calamari was... More

It's been twenty years since I last dined here. The indoors restaurant is more elegant than the rustic ambience I recall, but the riverside deck, overlooking the Hudson's ducks and goldfish in the shadow of the great walkway and Mid-Hudson Bridge remains a great place to dine. The service was okay and the food more than ample if underwhelming in... More

The only nice thing is that it's on the water. We decided to go here because we hadn't been in years and wanted to eat on the water. First, the drinks were horrible. We were looking forward to them because we are so busy with kids and life we never get a chance to relax and have a drink. We... More

We had the opportunity to dine at Mariners twice recently and were impressed with the improvement in both the food and the service. Will definitely go back as it is a great view of the river and bridges and the food and service is a good value.

Very nice maitress but food was sub pay especially for the price. My sausage was raw. They did take off bill and asked for replacement order to be paid and they did that also. Not going good back.

As one of the few seafood restaurants in this area, one would expect the freshest selection available. My friends and I went for lunch mid-week, and while our server was friendly and accomodating, the food was not great. The clam chowder was full of canned clams, and our oysters on the half shell were clearly frozen. The same could be... More
