Stopped in for breakfast before heading back home. Our waitress Kelly was the absolute best waitress, extremely friendly . The breakfast was delicious and very large. The coffee very good. The diner played 50's music and had all kinds of memorabilia. So many things to look at. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area.

Classic diner decor, building and menu. Simple and tasty food. Generous portions and resonable prices. Great for dinner.

Went in for lunch and really wanted to like it. Fun old railroad car diner covered with memorabilia and many (stolen?) license plates. My companions sandwich was really good but my lunch was awful. I ordered the "Train Wreck" since I like to try "local delicacies". Two hamburgers on a pile of macaroni salad and hash browns covered with a... More

We had a party of 8 adults and 3 children and they easily handled us at 2 tables. All the food came out quickly and at the same time. All dishes appeared to be large. The favorite was the Friday special of a 10 oz. prime rib with two eggs, hash browns and toast. I had liver and onions. You... More

Brought me back many years to the diners of my youth. Very good pastrami sandwich served quickly y a very good server. Would return when in Herkimer.

If you order the pancakes, ask for a short stack—three dinner plate-sized cakes were way beyond what I could finish. Everyone with me cleaned their plates, however, even though the portions were huge. Very friendly service, fun atmosphere, and good enough that we went back a second morning to try other things on the menu.

Otto's has the usual diner fare plus a few extras, some of which qualify as 'don't miss' items. To start, breakfast is very good with outstanding omelets and great coffee. Everything at breakfast looks good but it will take me a few more trips to try it all. Lunch has the usual burgers (great burger but they could skip the... More

Great breakfast, very friendly staff. The town of Herkimer has suffered job losses, but this diner has somehow survived.

My husband and I were visiting friends nearby and decided to stop in for dinner. We were seated and served promptly. The iced tea was freshly brewed and the service by Rebecca was excellent. We both ordered burgers which were prepared well and delicious. We will stop here again!
