This place.. Well, I've never actually had a dining experience quite like it. It would make a great episode of Kitchen Nightmares. I was in town training for work. There was about 7 of us going out for dinner with various backgrounds and English capabilities. I guess the fact that there was only one table and a bunch of old... More

Bringing some friends to San Marco's Wine dinners are a special event. The food is also a great that is pared with the wines and the wines are from all over the world. It's been an educational wine experience that varies from place to place and from different wine regions of the world. It's a pretty reasonable priced value and... More

DH and I enjoy having lunch here. We both love veal, and their veal is so tender it can be cut with a fork. The veal pisana is like a francese, but better, and their other veal dishes like the veal limone are very good as well. The side of vegetables is always tasty, and they serve a pineapple sorbet... Spacious restaurant. Relaxed atmosphere. Ten of us had lunch on a weekday afternoon. No issues. Appetizers, Entrees, Desserts and Drinks were prepared to perfection. Good place to enjoy a good meal or unwind at the bar.

Have been here a few time for work and play. Love seeing what my food will look like before I order it (appetizer and dessert anyway). And there is no end of favorites for me (like the antipasta "lasagna" (thin slices of meets, cheeses and veggies in a loaf), good salads, the veal with chestnuts and tangerines, chicken with portabellos,... Went for my son's Birthday. This restaurant is a bit stale and certainly lacking any WOW factor. Not sure why it received a high Zagat rating and award for one of the best restaurants??? Quite a disappointment. Food tasted average, portions small. Chicken piccata- chicken almost seemed steamed- a bit tough. Eggplant Rollatini just okay. Apple Strudel blah! A deflated... More

We had a terrible Saturday night experience at this restaurant. The median age was 80 so if you're looking for that good old Italian retirement home feeling, you found the right place. Yes, they start you off by rolling you a cart full of old stale appetizers that they probably have used for the past 26 years. And by the... More

My family and I eat there every Christmas Eve and every special occasion. The rigatoni alla vodka is my favorite food there.

After reading their Zagat review, we went for dinner at San Marco. For the price, everything was underwhelming. The decor was dated and the lighting was very bright. It is not the place for a romantic meal. The "appetizer and dessert carts" we're extremely unappetizing. The food on the carts look dry and uninspired. The waitstaff was attentive but not... More
