The best sushi restaurant on Long Island. The sauteed oysters are the best anywhere! All of the fish is fresh and served beautifully!

My husband and I frequent this restaurant (although they have 2 others). The sushi is wonderful! We have our signature dishes that are a must: Tuna and Avocado salad, Tuna carpaccio and then rolls. The restaurant is very small so it is loud at times and crowded but we usually prefer to sit at bar/counter area.

this was always the go to place, and had top notch sushi but they have slipped a bit, and others in the area like Nisen and Aji-53 are better

I recommend the Red Dragon Roll for those who like spicy rolls with shrimp tempura topped with spicy tuna and eel sauce.

Rarely remember having a dining experience that was so unpleasant. There were so many people jammed into this tiny restaurant that we were eating cheek by jowl with strangers who talked loudly about their ski adventures and their boyfriends. The service was really poor, Couldn't get a refill on drinks. The sushi was prepared in such a hurry that it... More

this place is usually crowded for a good reason. The sushi is great. the service however is very slow, and expect to wait for a table. Prices are a bit high, but quality is always there.

I am not a fish eater - period. I started going to Kotobuki about a year ago with the people in my office. I decided to try the sushi after hearing the big raves from many people. Like I tell my daughter you don't know if you like something unless you try it. So I tried it. Now I am... More

A great place for sushi with the best sauteed oysters on the planet. The restaurant often gets crowded so arrive early.

Was in the area for business for one night, my colleague wanted sushi so we went here. This place is in an outdoor shopping center and really didn't look promising from the outside, but we were hungry and just wanted to get dinner. Place was quite full but we got lucky by being the only party of 2 waiting for... More
