At Pace's, we are extremely attentive to your steaks long before they get to the table! First, we select only the finest meat available directly from market docks in the heart of New York City's famed meatpacking district. The cuts spend weeks under careful attention in our specially constructed aging rooms. This process guarantees that we serve only the tastiest, most tender cuts of prime beef that rival even the legendary old steak houses of New York City. For those with a creative palate, our marinated steaks are bathed in a carefully prepared sauce for three full days until each succulent bite is infused with the full flavor of our secret family recipe. Needless to say, our bar is fully stocked with a dazzling selection of fine wines and spirits.

Great Porterhouse

Time for an update on Pace's. We got a groupon and it was really worth the trip. Had the porterhouse for two that was tender and juicy. The sides are really large and can be split two or even three ways (the baked potato was the largest I have ever seen. We shared the baked clams which... read more

Great for couples and friends to go for a wonderful night out. All the food is excellent, especially the steaks. The ambience is romantic, low lights. The staff is there if you want something.

We had a corporate dinner @ PACE's steakhouse. The overall dinner was good. The steaks? I dunno, I ordered the famous marinated porterhouse $48 bucks, my 2 collegues ordered the Rib eye steak $44 bucks...both said the rib eye had LOTS of fat running around it. My marinated steak was super salty, luckily I like salt, the cut was hefty,... More

We can be that steak house, Lee! It's a shame this visit didn't get us quite there, but if you'll give us another chance, we're sure our marinades and bar service will both be able to impress you. We appreciate your feedback, and we look forward to seeing you and your coworkers again soon! Sincerely, Pace's Steak House team More

Glad our porterhouse and baked clams left you satisfied, Ricki (even if the portions were a little too much for you, but better that than going home hungry). We appreciate your feedback about our cuisine and our atmosphere (lighting aside), and we hope you'll join us again someday soon! We'd love to hear your thoughts on our desserts sometime --... More

Pace's has a down-to-earth atmosphere with a full bar. The meat was aged and very tender and cooked perfectly with a nice crust. The prices were reasonable for what was received. If you like blue cheese, you need to try the blue cheese coleslaw. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Will definitely visit again.

The food at the place has gone downhill. The restaurant's environment has changed, along with the type of clients it now attracts. The meat is charred too much for even a medium well done steak.

It sounds like you've been a fan of ours for a while, Joel, and we hate to think your opinion of us has changed. We're not sure what concerns you about our clientele, but we're happy to welcome anyone. As for the steak, we're sorry you didn't enjoy your last, but overly charred meats aren't a habit of ours --... More

Can be a little tight, but that's because it is very popular. The steaks are well aged and cooked to perfection. The sides are fantastic - I especially like the creamed spinach.

Thanks for checking in with us, John! Sorry the space gets a little cramped for you sometimes, but it's great to hear that the close quarters haven't kept you from enjoying our steaks and sides. We really appreciate your support, and we look forward to seeing you again soon! Till next time, Pace's Steak House team More

I had a double cut steak. It was perfectly medium rare but unfortunately it was burned on both sides. Kind of very black burned meat. Do not know if this needs to be that dark but it was not tasty any more. Maybe the grill / pan was way to hot. At the end... It was not worth the money... More

Our meal at Pace's was excellent. The service was attentive, personable, and prompt. The mushrooms stuffed with crabmeat and breadcrumbs with a white wine cream sauce were fresh and fabulously tasty. The lobster bisque was good, but not great. My bone-in ribeye was blackened and cooked to perfection. Clearly one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. My wife's petite... More
