My friends and I went to this new restaurant with high hopes - we'd liked Rainwater Grill, which had previously occupied the same space, and we'd read some local reviews which sounded promising. For me the first sign of trouble was seeing how the bar and the dining room were set up exactly the way Rainwater had been. Now, I... More

Ive had the opportunity to have dinner twice since their opening with family and friends on both occasions, the food was excellent as well as the service.

Perhaps the most boring menu in all of Westchester. And, the food is equally as boring. No flavor, over-cooked, and over-priced. No wonder the place is next to empty on the two nights we visited (I guess we're slow learners). The exception is the waiter -- a very nice man who seems to run the whole place (host, waiter, &... We decided to try something new besides Harvest and I chose that place because of its good rating. It was really bad idea! Can not believe such "restaurant" can exist, WORST food I ever tried. I started with fried mozzarella and it had such a unpleasant taste and after taste. It seems that oil for frying was used a lot... More

The place attracts a local crowd in the bar and the restaurant is always crowded during the evening and on weekends. The fried Avocado is different as well as the Beet salad...

Overall, I love coming to the RWG and I’ve been there at least 10 times since opening night. The main draw for me has been the atmosphere, the look and feel of the place. Wine by the glass is reasonably priced. The dishes are varied and all tasty. However, almost every dining option contains something with a lot of fat... More

Thanks to a Groupon offer, me and 5 of my closest friends went to Rainwater Grill. Aside from the company, the restaurant was elegant, chic and warm; the staff was friendly and welcoming; and, the food was outstanding. American fare with a great touch from the chef to update what could be rather ordinary food. Our waitress was great! Thanks... More

My wife and I tried the Rainwater Grill 2 weeks ago. We heard it was very good from some friends of ours. We made a reservation thinking it was a hot place. We were a little surprised when we arrived that there were very few diners - this was a Saturday night at 8pm, which is prime dinner time on... More

I went here in a recommendation. The food was not very good and the service was very slow. There were only 2 other table occupied so I don't know what the problem was. The decor was nice - want to end on a positive note.

From LI, went up to visit daughter and see her women's soccer team play at local college... went here for early lunch (after she had the chance to shower!), she'd been to Rainwater Grill a couple of times before, this was my first time; I can see my going back again, and again. I've been seriously working on eating healthily,... More
