Great New York style deli

Took my neighbor here for lunch who is 75 years young and she could have sworn some of the waitresses were from 30-40 years ago when she lived in Harstdale!! But nonetheless the food was tasty and the portions were big! Love that they still put pickles and coleslaw on the table. The decor is from... read more

This is the place to go if want comfort food. Not everything in the menu is equally good but it is the type and quantity of food your bubbe would make even if you are of another culture. The generous basket of bread includes not only bread but an assortment of crackers like bagel crisps or flatbread. There are also... More

I hadn't been here in a long time! The food was fresh and delicious and the offerings are substantial. The menu has something for everyone! BUT I must say the service here is also AMAZING. The wait staff is knowledgeable and attentive. Go and enjoy a treat for the your stomach and soul.

Very Good Jewish Deli. good portions and very nice wait staff. many regulars makes this a consistent performer. the only complaint is the owners lack of personality. they don't greet customers, they don't stop by the tables to see how everything was, they don't smile and when leaving and they are at the counter, don't even say Thank You for... This place is still serving first class deli sandwiches. The Pastrami is piled on rye bread in a heap and melts in your mouth. The staff is older people who know how to treat their customers. Prices are fair for such good quality.

Was in the mood for Deli so after reading TA decided to give Epsteins a try. Service was good, had a sloppy Joe triple was good but had lots of bread. Would have been better getting a combo more meat and less bread. Block Buster Knish - all it was was a knish cut in half with grilled salami and... More

The guys behind the deli are attentive and I have never had any problems with this kosher place. The sandwiches are amazing and the hot dogs are always ready.

Used to be great until they made the portion smaller and raised the prize. Owner says you now get more for your money. To make it worst the quality has gone down. Quality down Quantity down Price up ...???...

If you're looking for a traditional Kosher deli, they have the basics, but they are horribly unaccomodating to vegetarians and I'm not sure how they have achieved kashrut certification since they're open on Saturday's. I've had better Kosher deli food. And it would be nice if they didn't use chicken broth in everything...

We are long time regulars at this deli. They have the best hand cut french fries! Brisket, challah, roast beef? It's all good here. The prices are super reasonable and we've never had a bad meal here. The servers are old school, but always friendly and professional. The decor needs updating badly, but who cares when the food is so... More
