Good place

Nice place. Portions are big. Good food and the attention is kind. We had the meat loaf the only thing i didn't like is that was very salty, flavor was good.

This is not a Kosher Deli by law, but only serves kosher food. It is facing cometition now, and both Epstein's -Hartdale and its sister restaurant in Yonkers are cut some cornors from the big chain deli which openened nearly equi-distant from each. Epstein's error: They had a good thing. Corned beef, fries, sandwiches, the regulars who would not have... More

Quality has gone down, quantity has gone down and service is good. Owner decided to play with words on the menu giving you less while charging more.

While Epstein's doesn't outdo Katz' on the lower east side, Epstein's is a fantastic dining choice along the very developed Central Park Ave strip. The daily specials are more than adequately sized and tasty. The corned beef, the tongue and the pastrami sandwiches are sold choices and the deserts round out the experience nicely.

big sandwiches, hot soup, half sour pickles, reasonable prices...how can you go wrong. everything is the same as it has been for many years. this is one place that believes if it is not broken don't try to fix it.

We have wanted to try this restaurant for so long and finally did! It is such a typical Kosher Deli/Restaurant that we remembered from years gone by! It was great......If you really like Jewish Deli, this is the place to go.....the corned beef was tender and delish! the pickles were absolutely to die for! The staff was friendly and fun!... More

If you are not in a rush and need a pastrami sandwich or soup with kneidlach you can get it here. But you will grow older waiting for a sandwich. Reasonable deli (there are many better in NY area). Service is slow even when they are not busy so bide your time looking at the framed antique menus from by-gone... More

i was really disappointed, i went in for the first time, it's a bit dingy and outdated. anyway, i ordered a corned beef on rye with swiss and russian dressing, it was an extremely delicious sandwich but for the size to charge $12 was way too much for what it was. I've ordered wedge sandwiches with 10x more meat at... More

We have been eating here for years. For a real, New York, Kosher Deli, this place is great. The food is really good and the service is excellent. Very much recommended.

Used to be great, not so much anymore. Service is good, food is not good any longer, Brisket was overcooked and dry, hot dogs were old and knish and chicken soup were watery and tasteless.
