Used to be Al Dente but it seems they changed the name and chairs and maybe painted. The food has not improved. I had a tagliatelle with shrimps, capers olives. The tomato sauce was too heavy more for a meat sauce and it was very salty. My guess is they did not rinse the capers and olives. The wine list... More

this restaurant is probably one of the best local secrets in Westchester. I went there on a Thursday nite and when I got there it was just starting to get busy so if you go you should go early. they have specials every day and I opted for the filet mignon and my dining partner had the home made gnocchi... We went on a Sunday night and expected that it might be crowded, but there was only one other table occupied. As a result, it was quiet . There were four of us and we all enjoyed our meal. The portions were generous and we shared an appetizer which was perfect. This is the third or fourth time that we... More

We have been there a few times since my last review but I noticed there is no longer a crowd and you never have to wait for a table. It also seems they moved to cheaper supermarket Italian bread which is a mistake. When times are bad you never cut back on the quality of the food!

Typically, they start you off with brochette, olvies and hot peppers before you order your meal. It is a nice touch and is very enjoyable. I had their gnocchi dish, which was very good. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive. A nice place to have lunch or dinner during the week. Often, they have live music on the... More

Really a good restaurant near NYC.  I shared with my family some appetizers like clams, fried calamari and eggplant rollatine, all good and well prepared.  As maine course I chose a daily special: baked branzino with broccoli rabe and roasted tomatoes. I appreciated both the quality of food and the baking, simply tasty! As dessert I ordered the NY cheesecake, the... More

They had a groupon so I figured I would try it out. I was happy we did. We had the pizza appetizer. It was ok. One of had pasta marinara that was pretty good. I had the clams and shrimp fra diavlo. It came over pasta. I also thought that was good. For dessert I had the espresso crem brule... More

This restaurant has consistently good food. Great place to go with the family or for large gatherings. I previously reviewed but since I have visited a few times since the last review, I felt it was necessary to update.

If you like consistently good food then this is your place. The wait staff is very attentive. If this is your favorite place, then I guess you have never been out of the area!
