Oldie but always a goodie

This place has a history at this location for generations. It never disappoints. When I started dating my wife some 40 years ago we came here often. Last night we had 7:00 reservations by the fireplace. The occasion was my wife's birthday. She had the duck & I has the cos franchise. Food was... read more

Make a reservation! Excellent Italian, local seafood and steaks. Wonderful, courteous service from an attentive wait staff. Be sure to look over the daily specials. Almost too many good things excellently prepared to choose. Save room for dessert. The Tiramisu is the "real deal".

An in-town stand-by with a lovely ambiance and decorated for the holidays. After several tries over the years my conclusion is that I will never get a good, and forget a great meal here. The entrees are costly. I will only speak for myself: tonight's broiled flounder special with a salad, baked potato and broccoli was $30. The fish was... More

Almost everyone in Hampton Bays has been to one or more events at this popular local restaurant. After years as a ho hum boring Italian restaurant, it has, in recent years developed as a passable place to eat some of the Italian classics. Nothing fancy here, but they do a good job with eggplant, chicken, a few fish dishes. You... More

Villa Paul is an old house on the main highway in Hampton Bays. Several rooms in the house are used. The atmosphere is quiet and laid back. Menu is varied. Service is quick and courteous. We had two of the fish specials which were delicious. My wife had a cocktail which she really enjoyed. It is the kind of restaurant... More

An easily accessible spot that allows for wheelchairs with ample parking. Wine selection is interesting and I would suggest you taste before you order the glass or bottle. They have fine meats, fish and chicken selections as well as vegetarian options. The rooms vary with style but all are welcoming. It is an older style place with such rustic charm.... More

If you don't see something on the menu that you're craving, ask the chef to see if he can make it for you. I love the way he makes the chicken saltimbocca (yum!) and not seeing it on the menu the chef had no problem satisfying my pallet. Make sure to try their peach melba for dessert! Ladyfingers and vanilla... More

The food is always homemade and the service is very nice. The waiter told us all about the house being haunted and who used to live there. We had a wonderful time and we will be back.

A friend of ours (a local) took us to Villa Paul for a special dinner. It's a wonderful place - very welcoming and relaxed, but well appointed. We had an excellent meal. The local bay scallops (November is the season) were delicious. Bay scallops are normally sweeter than North Atlantic sea scallops, but these were amazing. They were prepared in... More
